We must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces that seek to distract and deceive (Ephesians 6:12). Your mother’s struggle is not just about a habit; it is a spiritual matter that requires prayer, wisdom, and godly intervention. The apostle Paul urges us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"* (1 Peter 5:8, WEB). Satan desires to keep believers distracted, but we can resist him by standing firm in faith and prayer.
