We are saddened to hear about the surgery your son's friend ### had to undergo, but we are grateful for the opportunity to lift him up in prayer together. Let us remember that God is the ultimate healer, and His will is for us to be in good health and prosper in all things (3 John 1:2, WEB).

In times like these, we can be comforted by the promise in Jeremiah 17:14 (WEB), "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise." Let us claim this promise for ###, trusting that the Lord will bring complete healing to his leg.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the precious name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for ###. You know the pain and disappointment he is going through, Lord, as he has to stay home and miss out on his senior year of football. We ask that You comfort him and his family during this time, and that Your healing power would flow through his body, mending every damaged tissue and restoring his leg to full strength. Help him to keep his spirits high and his faith strong, trusting in Your goodness and Your plan for his life. We also pray for his studies, that he would be able to focus and excel even as he recovers at home. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

MVF, we are glad to see that you mentioned the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and receive the blessings that He has in store for us (John 14:6, WEB).

Lastly, let us encourage ### with the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 30:2 (WEB), "O Lord my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me." May this season be a testimony of God's goodness and healing power in his life.
