Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my daughter. Please pray that God would remove evil influences, demonic, spiritual l, or human. Pray that God would break the chains that held her captive. We want our baby girl back! Please I'm begging for your prayers, Her name is ###. Just three months ago she was in college, happy from what we could tell, served in our church's children's ministry. She began dating my son-in-law's brother...her older sister is married. Now she's decided to walk away from my wife, myself, my older daughter, my son, college, church and our extended fur family. After almost a week she finally called. The guy is very controlling, we've only spoken twice but I suspect that he is always listening, then manipulates what we say to have her believe we have a hidden agenda. Worry and anxiety has overtaken me, but I've been seeking our Father through Jesus. I've been asking for him to turn my fear into faith. My worry and anxiety into trust. Waiting hurts A daddy with a broken heart!

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious daughter and your entire family in fervent prayer. The pain of a wayward child is deep, and the fear of unseen influences is real, but we stand on the promise that God hears the cries of His children and moves mightily on their behalf. The scriptures declare, *"The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles"* (Psalm 34:17). We take authority in the name of Jesus over every evil influence—whether spiritual, demonic, or human—that seeks to ensnare your daughter. The enemy has no right to hold her captive, for *"whom the Son sets free is free indeed"* (John 8:36).

We rebuke the spirit of control and manipulation operating through this man in her life. The Word warns, *"Do not be deceived: ‘Bad company corrupts good morals’"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). This relationship has drawn her away from her family, her faith, and her purpose, and we pray for the scales to fall from her eyes so she may see the truth. Father, expose every lie she has believed, and let Your light pierce the darkness that has clouded her judgment. Break every chain of deception, fear, and rebellion in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled now.

We also lift up your own heart, dear father. The waiting is agonizing, but we pray that God would replace your worry with supernatural peace, your anxiety with unwavering trust. *"Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). You are not helpless—you are a warrior in prayer, and your intercession is powerful. We ask the Lord to strengthen you with His might, to fill you with hope, and to remind you that He is working even when you cannot see it. Your daughter was fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has not forgotten her. We pray for divine encounters that will draw her back to her first love—Jesus Christ. May she remember the joy of serving in children’s ministry, the warmth of her family’s love, and the calling God has placed on her life.

Lord, we ask that You would hedge her in with Your angels, that no harm would come to her, and that every plan of the enemy would be thwarted. Surround her with godly influences—people who will speak truth, love her unconditionally, and point her back to You. We pray for repentance and restoration, not just for her, but for this young man as well. If he is unwilling to change, we ask that You remove him from her life completely. Father, we trust You to bring her home—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Give this family wisdom in how to respond, patience in the waiting, and faith that believes for a miracle.

We also want to gently address the mention of your daughter dating your son-in-law’s brother. While we understand the complexities of family dynamics, Scripture is clear that relationships should be pursued with wisdom and discernment. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this young man is not a believer or is leading her away from the Lord, this relationship is not of God. We pray that she would see the importance of seeking a spouse who shares her faith and values, as marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the situation seems impossible. Remember the father in Mark 9 who cried out, *"I believe! Help my unbelief!"* (Mark 9:24). God honors even the smallest measure of faith. Keep declaring His promises over your daughter’s life, keep praying without ceasing, and trust that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We stand with you, believing that this story is not over. Your baby girl will come home.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one lost sheep (Luke 15:4-6). We ask that You would pursue this precious daughter with Your relentless love. Break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and silence every lying voice that seeks to keep her bound. Restore her to her family, to her faith, and to the plans You have for her life. Comfort this father’s heart, Lord. Replace his fear with faith, his worry with trust, and his sorrow with joy. We ask that You would surround this family with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We also pray for the young man involved. If he is open to change, we ask that You would convict his heart of sin, lead him to repentance, and transform him by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). If he is not willing to change, we ask that You would remove him from her life completely and close every door that would lead her further away from You. Father, we ask that You would bring godly mentors, friends, and influences into her path—people who will speak truth, love her unconditionally, and point her back to You.

Lord, we declare that this family will not be defined by this trial but by Your faithfulness. We speak restoration over every broken relationship, healing over every wound, and revival over every heart. We thank You in advance for the testimony that will come from this season. May Your name be glorified as You bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We're standing right beside you, dear friend, as you walk through this valley of uncertainty. We've been where you are, and we know the pain of a child wandering from the path of light. But remember, our God is a God of miracles, and He's not finished with your daughter yet.

We're claiming Psalm 37:23-24 over her life right now: "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord upholds them with his hand." She may stumble, but she will never fall, for our God is holding her up.

We're also praying for divine appointments. We believe that God will orchestrate encounters that will draw her back to Him. Maybe it's a chance meeting with an old friend, a powerful sermon, or a book that speaks directly to her heart. We're asking God to use these moments to remind her of His love and the joy she once found in serving Him.

And for you, dear dad, we're praying for peace. We know the waiting is hard, but we're claiming Philippians 4:7 over you: "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Trust that God is working even when you can't see it, and that He has a plan for your daughter's life.

We're also praying for wisdom as you navigate this situation. God promises in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." So, keep asking, keep seeking, and keep trusting.

We're in this with you, every step of the way. Your daughter will come home, and together, you'll tell of the wondrous works of the Lord.

I prayed with you for your daughter's return. Please read Psalm 91 inserting her name. I asked the Holy Spirit, our Helper, to guide her, soften her heart to walk in Christ and bring her home. Our Father has her in the Palm of His Hand. I pray peace and comfort in your heart as the Lord rewards your increasing trust in Him and His Promises... in Jesus' Name amen
