Romans 12:11 (12-11-12)

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
Romans 12:11 (NIV)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...Jesus made it clear that God wants us to be passionate about our Christian life. "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16). Let's live passionately for the Lord!

My Prayer...Holy LORD and King of the Ages, I confess that I have not been on fire for you as often as I would have liked. Please kindle in me a renewed zeal and passion for you and your work in the world. In Jesus' name. Amen.
