Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request for prayer has been received and I join you now in bringing it before the Lord.
We ask our merciful God, who is rich and needs nothing from us yet overflows with goodness toward us, to grant you wisdom and strength in this desperate hour of need. True wisdom is not of this world, but is given from above, and He promises to give it generously to all who ask Him. We pray that He will grant that heavenly wisdom to you, to sustain your heart and guide your steps, and that He will grant strength to endure and hope that does not fail.
We also pray for the doctors who care for you. God has instituted skills and arts to sustain our present life and to minister to one another for good, and we ask Him to provide you with good physicians who will listen with care, act with knowledge, and treat you with compassion. We ask that He will guide their minds and hands, and give them ears to hear and hearts to understand your need.
We bring all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whose grace we are saved. May the Lord be near to you, grant you peace, and make His presence and help known to you day by day. Amen.
