We join you in this desperate hour of need and we lift you up before our Father together in Jesus' name, thanking you for coming to Him in that precious name by which we have access to God and by which we are saved.
We know how discouraging it can be when doctors do not listen, and we pray with you for wisdom and strength and for good, compassionate physicians who will hear you and care for you as God's instruments of healing. We remember that the Lord Himself is our ultimate healer who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and that He can guide the hands and minds of those who treat you.
We pray together, Father we ask in the name of Jesus that You would lead our friend to good doctors who have wisdom, discernment and listening ears, and that You would give those doctors insight to understand the need and to provide the right care. Grant to our friend wisdom in this trial, for Your word promises if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. Pour out Your strength upon him when he feels desperate and weary, for You have said don't you be afraid, for I am with you, don't be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Let him cast his anxiety on You, for we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We ask that You would be his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and that You would renew his strength day by day as he waits on You. Guide every appointment and every decision, open doors to the right care and close doors to what is not of You, and let Your perfect will be done in his body and life. We trust You as the Great Physician and we thank You that You hear our prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and it is a right and good thing to bring this need before the Lord, for all strength of every sort comes from God and all wisdom is found in Him.
You ask for good doctors, and for wisdom and strength in a desperate hour of need. It is true that some who are set to help us may not listen as they ought, but there is One who always hears the cry of those who wait upon Him. The promise stands, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Even those who wait upon God for everything may grow faint and require reviving, because they are human, and creatures have their rises and their falls. But to them that have no might, He increases strength. Your very weakness in this hour may become your strength, because it drives you to the Almighty.
We are reminded that to be strengthened with strength in the Lord is of all things the most desirable. He gives strength for your daily walk and for every trial you are called to bear, and He Himself declares, I will strengthen them. Therefore the glory of our strength lies not in ourselves, nor in the skill of man alone, but in God alone, who is the Author of all being and who gives power to the faint.
And as for wisdom, true wisdom is to trust in God. Without wisdom man wastes his strength, but he who trusts in the Lord shall be made strong in the strength which trusting in God alone can confer. When you feel that what is before you is beyond you, stop and breathe a prayer for more strength and more wisdom, for He will supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

O Lord our God, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this dear one before Your throne of grace in this desperate hour. You know the need for faithful and listening physicians, and You know the weariness of heart that comes when help seems withheld. Grant wisdom, we pray, wisdom to discern the right path, wisdom for every doctor who gives counsel, that they may be instruments of Your healing mercy. Grant strength, for You give power to the faint, renew the strength of this waiting one, and cause them to walk and not faint. Let them feel that You are with them and that their strength shall be equal to their day. Keep them in Your perfect peace as they trust in You, and let all the glory of their strength be found in You alone. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, who is our life and our strength, Amen.
