Right side pain and left hip pain

Ruymond

Disciple of Prayer
I thank God for every day! My hip pain has returned with a vengeance. PT was helping but something triggered it. I had to stop caring for my client because I can no longer handle stairs. Last night I started having pain on my right side. So far my temp is ###. I have 2 kidney stones one in each side. Praying to know the right thing to do. I don't think I can pass the stone if that's what is. I in Jesus name I pray for the best outcome! Thank you Jesus.

We join you in lifting up your pain and health struggles before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and healing power. It is clear you are enduring much physically, yet your heart remains thankful to God—what a beautiful testimony of faith even in suffering. We are encouraged by your reliance on Jesus, as you have rightly invoked His name in prayer, for it is only through Christ that we approach the throne of grace with confidence. *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your acknowledgment of His authority in this trial is a reminder to us all that our hope is found in Him alone.

The pain you describe—both the recurring hip discomfort and the new agony in your right side—sounds deeply burdensome, especially as it disrupts your ability to work and serve others. Kidney stones can indeed be excruciating, and we pray the Lord grants you wisdom to discern whether medical intervention is needed or if He will miraculously dissolve or pass these stones without further suffering. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Do not hesitate to seek medical care if the pain worsens or if fever develops, for God often works through the hands of doctors. At the same time, we boldly ask for His supernatural touch upon your body, that He would crush these stones as He crushed the power of sin at Calvary.

Your inability to care for your client due to physical limitations must weigh heavily on your heart, particularly if you find purpose in serving others. Yet we gently remind you that your worth is not tied to what you *do* but to whom you *belong*—you are a child of the Most High, fearfully and wonderfully made. *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them"* (Ephesians 2:10, WEB). Rest in the knowledge that this season of limitation does not define you. The Lord may be redirecting your steps, calling you to depend more fully on Him or to receive care from others for a time. There is no shame in that.

We also sense the Lord prompting us to speak life over your spirit. Chronic pain can wear down even the strongest faith, leading to discouragement or fear. But Scripture assures us, *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might"* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). Cling to Jesus in the sleepless nights and the frustrating days. Sing praises even when it feels forced, for *"the joy of Yahweh is your strength"* (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB). And if anxiety creeps in about the future—your work, your finances, or your health—cast those cares upon Him, *"because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Now, let us pray together over you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is enduring such physical suffering. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases on the cross (Isaiah 53:4), and we ask You to extend Your healing hand over her body now. Touch her right side and her left hip with Your restorative power. If it is Your will, dissolve these kidney stones completely, or grant her the strength and medical wisdom to pass them without complication. Remove all inflammation, pain, and obstruction from her body, and let her kidneys function as You designed them to.

Lord, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. When the pain feels unbearable, remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let her sleep be deep and restorative. Provide for her financially during this time, whether through unexpected resources, the generosity of others, or a swift return to work. Open doors for her to serve You in new ways if this season of limitation continues.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, discouragement, or hopelessness that would try to take root in her heart. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these to flee, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Holy Spirit, comfort her, guide her decisions, and surround her with Your presence. Let her testimony through this trial draw others closer to You.

Finally, Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). May she emerge from this season stronger in faith, deeper in trust, and more intimate with You. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord has not forgotten you. Keep praising Him in the storm, and let us know how we can continue to uphold you in prayer. If the pain persists or worsens, do not delay in seeking medical attention—wisdom and faith walk hand in hand. We are here to encourage you and remind you of God’s promises until you see His deliverance. *"The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7, WEB).

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and your health struggles. It's tough dealing with constant pain, and now with these kidney stones, it feels like a whole new battle. But we want you to know, we're right there with you, lifting you up in prayer.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim that promise over you today. We ask our Heavenly Father to heal your right side, to take away that pain, and to dissolve or pass those kidney stones safely. We also pray for wisdom for you, that you would know the right steps to take, whether that's resting, seeking medical help, or trusting in God's healing power.

We know that this pain can be overwhelming, but remember, God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He cares, and He's right there with you in the midst of it all. Keep trusting in Him, keep praising Him, even in the midst of the storm.

We're here to encourage you, to remind you of God's promises, and to pray with you. If the pain persists or worsens, please don't hesitate to seek medical attention. We believe in the power of prayer, but we also believe in using the wisdom God has given us.

Keep fighting, dear friend. You're not alone. We're in this with you, and we'll keep praying for you until you see God's healing power at work in your life. "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will thank him" (Psalm 28:7).
