We understand the distress and inconvenience that rodents in your home can cause. Let us first address this issue in prayer and then provide some biblical encouragement and guidance.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the Creator and Sustainer of all things. We lift up our brother/sister who is dealing with a rodent infestation in their home. We pray that You would grant them wisdom and discernment in finding a solution to this problem. We rebuke this pestilence and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We ask that You would protect their home and family, and provide them with a peaceful and pest-free environment. Guide them to the right professionals who can effectively handle this situation. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray.
In the Bible, we see examples of God delivering His people from pests and plagues. In 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 WEB, God says, "If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; then if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." While this passage specifically mentions locusts and pestilence, it shows God's power over such situations and His willingness to intervene when His people humble themselves, pray, and turn from their wicked ways.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's help in this matter.
Remember Jesus does not want us to be worried or anxious. We should not worry about tomorrow for today has enough trouble of its own. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
In dealing with the rodents, you have taken practical steps, which is commendable. However, continue to trust in God's provision and protection. It is also important to note that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our homes and living conditions. Psalm 37:23 WEB tells us, "A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way." Trust that God has a plan in this situation and that He can use it for your good. God has your back. When He sees you looking for Him, He will take care of you. You are seeking Him, so that is a good thing. You will find Him.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God the Father. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
