🎪 Revival, Washed by Word to Be Pure Bride 👰 Eph 5:26-33, Sanctification of Holy Spirit 💦Heb 12:14, 💫 Ministry of Reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19🫂 (Vertically -- reconcile God and Humanity... AND Horizontally -- Restoration between Churches, Ministries, Family and Friends -- Unity, John 17:1-25...

🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11-15. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, Jer 29:7, regions, states, nations, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, to love You with ALL our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30-31, nd our neighbors as ourselves. Let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:26-31, this mystery is great, but I speak of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final icing of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

Through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You mayest be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

Lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, Gen 2:17-18, Eph 5:32-33, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, Matt 28:19-20, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join our hearts with yours in this cry for revival and reformation and we say amen to your desire to be washed by the Word to be presented as a pure Bride to Christ.

Your prayer beautifully captures the heart of what God desires for His Church. We are reminded that Christ loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without defect, Eph 5:26-27. This is not by our own striving but by His grace and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, and we must cooperate with that work. As it is written, you are chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ, 1 Pet 1:2. And we are called to put to death the deeds of the body by the Spirit, Rom 8:13, for it is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies, Zech 4:6.

We agree with you that without holiness no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14, and that this holiness is a fruit of abiding in the truth. Jesus prayed Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth, John 17:17, and if we remain in His word we will know the truth and the truth will make us free, John 8:31-32. We rejoice that by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so our sanctification rests on His finished work while we walk out the good works which God prepared before that we would walk in them, Eph 2:10, making ourselves ready as the Bride has made herself ready, and it was given to her that she would array herself in bright, pure, fine linen, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints, Rev 19:7-8.

We also stand with you for the ministry of reconciliation, both vertically and horizontally. We thank God that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. That vertical reconciliation through the one Mediator, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, must then bear fruit in horizontal unity and restoration among churches, ministries, families and friends. This is the very heart of Jesus in John 17 where He prayed that they may all be one, even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that you sent me, John 17:21.

We lift up with you our pastors, leaders, cities and nations, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4. We ask that God would shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, and that the eyes of our hearts may be enlightened, Eph 1:18, to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength, Mark 12:30, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

We thank the Father with you for past revivals and reformations and for the gifts He gave, He gave some to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ, Eph 4:11-12. We ask now for fresh outpouring that we would fulfill the work of an evangelist and fully carry out our service, 2 Tim 4:5, serving with our spirit in the Good News of His Son, Rom 1:9, and bearing much fruit, John 15:8, both the fruit of the Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, and a harvest of souls gathered to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You for Your mercy and for the blood of the new covenant that speaks better than Abel and secures our eternal inheritance. Wash us again by the water of Your Word. Convict us where we have grown cold or compromised and sanctify us wholly. Pour out Your Spirit upon us, our families, our churches and our land, that the earth may be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea, Hab 2:14, and that the whole earth may be filled with Your glory, Ps 72:19. Make us one as You and the Son are one, heal divisions among Your people, restore families and friendships where sin has caused breach, and give us boldness to be Your witnesses empowered from on high, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies, for we are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, 1 Pet 2:9.

We ask that You would keep us abiding in Christ, bearing fruit, walking in holiness, and faithfully calling all to repentance and faith in Jesus, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Let our lives adorn that Gospel until He comes.

We thank You Father, Son and Holy Spirit for hearing us, for the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all, 2 Cor 13:14. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, believing we have received, Mark 11:24, amen.

We are moved by your hunger for revival and for the church to be made pure and ready for Jesus. Your desire to see God glorified in your own life, in families and churches, and across cities and nations is beautiful, and we join you in it.

What you describe, being washed in the Word, walking in holiness, and carrying the ministry of reconciliation both toward God and toward one another, is a lifelong walk. We are set apart by what Christ has done, and day by day we are being shaped to look more like Him. That shaping happens gradually, with ups and downs, as we stay close to the Lord through His Word, through prayer, through worship and fellowship, and through dependence on the Holy Spirit rather than our own strength. There is no single formula, God works uniquely in each person and each congregation as we keep saying yes to Him.

We pray you are encouraged as you keep seeking Him and inviting others into that same reconciliation and unity.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your finished work and for Your Spirit at work in us. Wash us and make us more like You, and use us to carry Your reconciliation to those around us. Fill the earth with Your glory and make Your church ready for Your coming. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for revival and for a pure Bride washed by the Word is a prayer after God's own heart, and we join our Amen to it with thankfulness.

How gracious is the Lord to have set His people apart, for by the will of God we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Incarnate God by offering His own blood, by bearing in His own body the curse, has effected the purpose of the everlasting Father in purging His people and making them henceforth holiness, and the Father joins in the verdict of His Son that it is finished. All the will of God for the sanctification of His people is accomplished in Christ, and this work must be applied to us by the Holy Spirit, who takes away from us all hope of being sanctified before God by any means of our own, brings us to see our need of cleansing and reconciliation, and then takes of the things of Christ and reveals them to us. What we do can now be accepted because He has bought for us a sanctification which has made us the Lord's people and enabled us to engage in His service.

We rejoice therefore to pray with you that you and all the saints may be washed in the truth of the water of the Word, until He present to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle. Yet we must remember that without holiness, practical, personal, active, vital holiness, no one shall see the Lord. It is not perfection of holiness that the text demands as the ground of acceptance, for no one who knows his own heart pretends to be perfectly conformed to God's will, but a real holiness is required. This holiness excludes impurity and immorality, but morality does not amount to holiness, for morality may clean the outside of the cup while the heart remains full of wickedness. Holiness deals with the thoughts and intents, the purposes and motives, and requires that the heart be set on God and beat with love to Him. We pray that the Spirit would put to death the deeds of the flesh in you, not by might nor by power but by My Spirit, saith the Lord, and cause you to walk in the good works which He hath before ordained.

This perseverance is perseverance in holiness, for He hath said they shall not depart from Me. If grace hath really changed you, you are radically and lastingly changed, and the sweet assurance of salvation is that it secures a life of holiness. Put on therefore as the elect of God bowels of compassion, holiness and love, that the world may see that God's chosen are made by grace the choicest of men, living nearer to Christ and more like Christ.

Concerning revival, we affirm with you that if a revival be true and real, it is caused by the Holy Spirit and by Him alone. We cannot get up a revival by machinery, for that may be the greatest hindrance to true godliness. A church cannot be revived unless God revives it. In vain shall we struggle after revival unless we have His presence, and we must avow our desire to walk with God, otherwise our strivings will be wearisome and prayer will be dishonoured. Wherever the Spirit of God comes there will be life in the church and life in the ministry, life in prayer, life in effort, life in holiness, life in brotherly love, and then the calling out of numerous converts. Divine omnipotence is the doctrine of a revival, for God is absolute monarch of the hearts of men.

We pray then, will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You. Let the Lord shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, and enlighten the eyes of our understanding to love Him with all heart and soul and mind and strength, and our neighbour as ourselves. May He grant that vertical reconciliation which is through the one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who by His once for all offering hath made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, and may that reconciliation bear fruit horizontally in unity among churches and families and brethren, not a unity bought at the price of truth, but that unity for which our Lord prayed, that they may be one as we are one, being sanctified in the truth. The mystery of marriage as Christ and the church, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, remains the pattern of His love for His Bride, whom He nourishes and cherishes.

So we ask the Lord to make you ready as a Bride adorned for her Husband, clothed in fine linen pure and bright, which is the righteous deeds of the saints wrought by grace, and to give you power from on high to be witnesses to His excellencies, doing the work of an evangelist and fulfilling the ministry of reconciliation committed to us, that others from every people may be gathered to the marriage supper of the Lamb. May you continue in His Word, and patiently follow holiness, looking for that day when all the earth shall be filled with His glory as the waters cover the sea.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling, praying that He will grant you to fear Him and give Him glory, for with Him there is forgiveness that He may be feared. In the name of Jesus Christ our Mediator we ask it, Amen.
