Beloved of All
🎪 Revival, Washed by Word to Be Pure Bride 👰 Eph 5:26-33, Sanctification of Holy Spirit 💦Heb 12:14, 💫 Ministry of Reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19🫂...🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11-15. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, Jer 29:7, regions, states, nations, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, love Y and let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:26-31, this mystery is great, but I speak of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final capstone of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

It is through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You mayest be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

And lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this beautiful and deeply biblical cry for revival and we say amen to your prayer for the washing of the Word and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit and the ministry of reconciliation.

Your heart reflects what God desires, that His Church would be made ready as a pure Bride for Christ. We are encouraged by your hunger for holiness and for the glory of God to fill the earth and for souls to be gathered into the sheepfold of our Shepherd.

We are reminded that Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without defect Eph 5:25-27. This is the great mystery of Christ and the Church Eph 5:32, and we share your longing that we would be found without blemish at His coming. As it is written, Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord Heb 12:14. We agree that this holiness is not by our own might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies Zech 4:6, as we through the Spirit put to death the deeds of the body Rom 8:13 and walk in the good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them Eph 2:10.

We also rejoice that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Tim 2:5, who by a single offering has perfected forever those who are being sanctified Heb 10:14. It is only through His blood of the new covenant that we can draw near with confidence and be reconciled to God.

We also take to heart your prayer for all peoples and leaders, for we are commanded to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:3-4. And we have been entrusted with the word of reconciliation, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19, so that we are ambassadors for Christ 2 Cor 5:20.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy and for past revivals and reformations and for the gifts You have given to Your Church, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints Eph 4:11-12. We ask You to revive us again according to Your loving kindness Ps 119:88, and to shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ 2 Cor 4:6. Open the eyes of our understanding Eph 1:18 and sanctify us in Your truth, Your word is truth John 17:17. Wash us daily by the water of Your Word until we are holy and without blemish before You.

Lord Jesus, present us to Yourself as Your glorious Church, and let us make ourselves ready as the Bride, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and his wife has made herself ready Rev 19:7, clothed in fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints Rev 19:8. Holy Spirit, continue Your sanctifying work in us according to the foreknowledge of God 1 Pet 1:2, empower us from on high to be Your witnesses Acts 1:8, and help us to do the work of an evangelist and fulfill our ministry 2 Tim 4:5, serving with our spirit in the Good News of Your Son Rom 1:9, bearing fruit that remains John 15:16 and proclaiming Your excellencies who called us out of darkness into Your marvelous light 1 Pet 2:9, so that many more may be gathered to the marriage supper of the Lamb Matt 22:2 and be discipled to continue in Your word and know the truth which sets us free John 8:31-32. Let all the earth be filled with Your glory Ps 72:19 as the waters cover the sea Hab 2:14. We ask all this with thanksgiving, trusting that whatever we ask in Your name You will do John 14:13, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. Your love for Jesus and longing to see Him glorified in your own life, your family, your church and across the nations comes through so clearly. We join you in thanking God for how He has worked in past generations and for the hope we have that He is still at work today.

What you described about being washed and made ready as His people resonates deeply. We have found it helpful to remember that being set apart is both something God has already done for us in Christ and also a lifelong walk where we learn day by day to put Him first. That walk is usually gradual and uneven, with seasons of real growth and seasons that feel slower, and that is normal. It keeps us dependent on Him rather than on our own resolve.

In that daily process the simple means God has given remain central, spending time in His Word, bringing ourselves and others before Him in prayer, worshiping and walking alongside other believers who encourage us. And none of it bears fruit apart from the Holy Spirit, who alone brings growth. Your desire to share the good news and help others come into His light is a beautiful part of that same work, and God forms each of us differently so our growth and witness will not look exactly alike.

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister and their hunger for Your glory to be seen. Keep washing and renewing them in Your Word, fill them with Your Spirit for each step You have prepared, and use them to draw others toward Jesus. Make Your presence known in their home and church and city in Your way and timing. In Jesus name, Amen.

It is good to hear a prayer so full of Scripture and so earnest for the glory of Christ, and I join my heart with yours before the throne of grace.

Your desire for revival is after the mind of God. Every true revival has been commenced and attended by a large amount of prayer, and it comes not by our might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord. We must walk with God if we would see His hand made bare, for in vain shall we struggle after revival unless we have His presence. I pray with you that the Lord would visit us, our families, our churches and our cities, and that as He lives all the earth may be filled with His glory as the waters cover the sea, shining in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

You have prayed well that we may be washed by the water of the Word. This is the washing of which the apostle speaks, that Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing. By the will of God we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all, and the Father joins in the verdict of the Son that it is finished. Yet this work must be applied to us by the Holy Spirit, who takes away from us all hope of being sanctified by any means of our own, brings us to see our need of cleansing and reconciliation, and takes of the things of Christ and reveals them to us. So I pray that we may indeed participate with His sanctifying work, and by the Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, and walk in the good works which God has prepared in advance for us to do.

You ask for that holiness without which no one shall see the Lord. Take heed that we understand it rightly. We are to follow practical, personal, active, vital holiness, the opposite of uncleanness, for God has not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness. It is not said that without perfection of holiness no one shall see the Lord, for no one who knows his own heart pretends to be perfectly conformed to His will, but without holiness itself, a heart made right in His statutes and a life that follows after Christ, no man shall see Him. Holiness excludes immorality, but mere morality does not amount to holiness, for morality may be but the cleaning of the outside of the cup while the heart remains full of wickedness. If grace has truly changed us, we are radically and lastingly changed, and we shall not depart from Him, for He has made an everlasting covenant ordered in all things and sure, and everything that can be supposed to be a condition is provided therein. May the Lord finish His new creation in us, pure and spotless let us be.

And you have prayed for the ministry of reconciliation, and this is the very objective of true Gospel ministry. We are not sent to find out a way of reconciling you to God, for He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation as well as the ministry of reconciliation, so that all we have to do is to declare what God Himself has written in this Book, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. The reconciling work on God's part is already done, for He has met the demands of moral government and made amends to holiness for man's offences, and the law is more glorified by His atoning death than it was dishonoured by our sin. All things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ. May the Lord embolden us to do the work of an evangelist and to fulfill that ministry, serving Him with our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of His Son, that we may bear much fruit, not only the fruit of the Spirit, but a harvest of souls gathered into His sheepfold and called to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

So let us pray together that the Lord would keep us continuing in His Word, that we may know the truth and be made disciples indeed, and that He would grant us perseverance in holiness until we are made ready as a Bride adorned for her Husband, clothed in fine linen pure and bright, which is the righteous deeds of the saints wrought in us by grace.

Father, we thank You for Your promise and for the single offering by which You have made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified. Forgive us, for with You there is forgiveness that You may be feared. Revive us again, wash us, sanctify us, and use us to proclaim Your excellencies who called us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Grant us power from on high to be Your witnesses. We ask this through Jesus Christ the Mediator of the new covenant, in whose name we pray, Amen.
