🎪 Revival, Washed by Word to Be Pure Bride 👰 Eph 5:26-33, Sanctification of Holy Spirit 💦Heb 12:14, 💫 Ministry of Reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19🫂...🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11-15. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, Jer 29:7, regions, states, nations, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, love Y and let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:26-31, this mystery is great, but I speak of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final capstone of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

It is through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You mayest be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

And lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this beautiful and biblically rich cry for revival and reformation and we say amen to your desire to be washed by the Word to be presented as a pure Bride to Christ.

Your prayer aligns with the heart of God who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4, and who gave Himself for the church that He might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that He might present the assembly to Himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without defect, Eph 5:26-27. This is that great mystery of Christ and the assembly, Eph 5:32, and we rejoice that you are longing for that sanctification of the Spirit without which no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14, for it is through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth that we are being made holy, 1 Pet 1:2.

We are encouraged by your intercession for all people, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:2, and for the peace of the city where God has placed us, Jer 29:7, and for the earth to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea, Hab 2:14, and that the whole earth be filled with His glory, Ps 72:19. We agree that this only happens when God shines in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, and when the eyes of our hearts are enlightened, Eph 1:18, and when we are sanctified in the truth, for Your word is truth, John 17:17.

We also affirm your understanding of our calling to walk out that sanctification not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies, Zech 4:6, that if by the Spirit we put to death the deeds of the body we will live, Rom 8:13, and that we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them, Eph 2:10, making ourselves ready as the Bride who has made herself ready, clothed in fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints, Rev 19:7-8.

And we give thanks with you that we have this confidence through Jesus who is the one mediator between God and men, 1 Tim 2:5, the mediator of a new covenant, Heb 12:24, who by one offering has perfected forever those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so that we can come boldly and ask in His name, for whatever we ask in His name He will do, John 14:13, and we thank You that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19, and calling us to do the work of an evangelist and fulfill our ministry, 2 Tim 4:5, serving with our spirit in the Good News of His Son, Rom 1:9, that we may bear much fruit, John 15:8, the fruit of the Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, and a harvest of souls from the other sheep which are not of this fold, John 10:16, compelling them to come in from the highways and hedges to the marriage feast, Luke 14:23, for the wedding is ready, Matt 22:8, and to continue in His word as true disciples who will know the truth and the truth will make us free, John 8:31-32, proclaiming the excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light, 1 Pet 2:9, with power from on high to be His witnesses, Acts 1:8.

We pray together now, Father we thank You for Your mercy that with You there is forgiveness, that You may be feared, Ps 130:4, and that You have not marked our iniquities against us. We ask You to revive and reform us first, then our families, our churches, our pastors and teachers whom You gave for the perfecting of the saints, Eph 4:12, our cities, regions and nations. Wash us daily by the water of Your Word until we are without spot or wrinkle. Sanctify us by Your Holy Spirit and keep us abiding in Christ, bearing fruit that remains. Fill us with boldness to fulfill the ministry of reconciliation You have entrusted to us, to preach the eternal Good News to fear God and give Him glory, Rev 14:7, and to make disciples, teaching them to observe all You commanded. We ask this with thanksgiving, believing we have received it, Mark 11:24, through Jesus Christ our Lord in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, and we give glory to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus name, Amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. Your love for Jesus and for His church to be made pure and ready comes through clearly, and your longing to see your own church, your city, and people far beyond reconciled to God is beautiful. Thank you for carrying this burden to the Lord so faithfully.

What stands out to us is how you hold together both God's work and our response. We are set apart by Him, and we also walk with Him day by day as He forms us to be more like Christ. That becoming is not instant. It is gradual and lifelong, with highs and lows, and it happens as we stay close to Him in simple, steady ways, spending time in His Word, talking with Him in prayer, worshiping alongside other believers, and depending on the Holy Spirit rather than our own resolve. God works uniquely in each life, so the shape of that growth will not look the same for everyone.

In this season it may help to choose one small, faithful rhythm to lean into this week, whether that is lingering a little longer in the Word to be renewed, praying by name for a pastor, neighbor or city on your heart, or gathering for worship where you can be encouraged and encourage others.

Father, we thank You for this heart that longs for Your glory to be known. Keep our friend rooted in Your grace, renew them daily as they stay in Your Word, fill them with Your Spirit, and make them a faithful and gentle witness of Your reconciling love right where You have placed them. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our whole heart with yours in asking the Lord for that which He alone can give.

We do pray for a true revival, for we know that if a revival be true and real, it is caused by the Holy Spirit and by Him alone. It is not gotten up by man, for it belongeth not to us to do this. Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord. When He comes there will be life in the Church and life in the ministry, life in prayer, life in effort, life in holiness, life in brotherly love, and then the calling out of many converts by His sovereign grace. We avow our desire to walk with God in this, for in vain shall we struggle after revival unless we have His presence, and we would sit still before the Lord, deaf to every voice but the Divine, that He may lead us onward in the path of a higher life.

We rejoice in that noble position into which the grace of God has lifted all believers, for by the will of God we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Incarnate God, by offering His own blood, by laying down His own life, by bearing in His own body the curse, was able to effect the purpose of the everlasting Father in purging His people and setting His chosen apart. The Father joins in the verdict of His Son that it is finished, all the will of God for the sanctification of His people is accomplished. He bought for us a sanctification which has made us the Lord's people and has enabled us to engage in His service. Yet this work must be applied to us by the Holy Spirit, who takes away from us all hope of being sanctified before God by any means of our own, brings us to see our need of cleansing and reconciliation, and then takes of the things of Christ and reveals them to us. So we pray that you may be washed in the truth of the water of the Word, that He would shine in your heart to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, and enlighten the eyes of your understanding, until He present you to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and without blemish. That great mystery of Christ and His Church, where He cleaves unto His Bride and they become one flesh, is our hope and our joy.

And we hear your longing for that holiness without which no one shall see the Lord, and we press it upon you as Scripture does. We are to follow holiness, that practical, personal, active, vital holiness which is the opposite of impurity. It is not perfection of holiness, for no one who knows his own heart pretends to be perfectly conformed to God's will, but it is true holiness. Holiness excludes immorality, but morality does not amount to holiness, for morality may but clean the outside of the cup while the heart remains full of wickedness. Holiness deals with the thoughts and intents, the purposes, the aims, the motives, and requires that the heart shall be set on God and beat with love to Him. This is perseverance in holiness, for if the grace of God has really changed you, you are radically and lastingly changed, and His promise is, they shall not depart from me. As the elect of God, put on bowels of compassion, holiness and love, and let the world see that God's chosen ones are made by grace the choicest of men, who live nearer to Christ and are more like Christ. We pray that by the Spirit you may put to death the deeds of the flesh and walk in the good works which God prepared beforehand, making yourself ready as the Bride adorned for her Husband, whose fine linen, bright and pure, is the righteous deeds of the saints, wrought in her by grace.

We thank God that He was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our trespasses against us, and has committed to us the ministry of reconciliation. May the Lord embolden you with power from on high to be His witness, to do the work of an evangelist and fulfill that ministry, serving Him with your spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, that you may bear much fruit, not only the fruit of the Spirit, but a harvest of souls gathered into the sheepfold and called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. Continue in His Word, that you may know the truth and be sanctified thereby, patiently calling all to that holiness and to that faith in the one Mediator, Jesus Christ, who by a single offering has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, and who alone is the way of forgiveness, for with Him there is forgiveness that He may be feared.

We lay these petitions before the throne with thanksgiving through Jesus Christ the Mediator of the new covenant, asking that the Lord would fill all the earth with His glory as the waters cover the sea, beginning in our own hearts, our families and our churches, and extending to every people, for this is good and pleases Him who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Amen.
