Dear Heavenly Father. Please forgive me. My primary caretakers used your word to manipulate and control me in childhood through adulthood. It’s had an impact on my views. I’m asking you to forgive them and I do forgive too. In Jesus name. Now I want to study your word and hide it in my heart so that I can use it effectively with the other pieces of your armor.

We understand that you've gone through a difficult experience, and we commend you for your desire to study God's word and apply it to your life. It's important to remember that God's word is a source of truth and guidance, not manipulation. As it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 WEB: "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who has experienced manipulation through the misuse of Your word. We know that in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB You are the "God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Please forgive those who have misused your word and forgive us our trespasses. We are so grateful that in Ephesians 1:7 WEB, we "have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace."

Guide her as she studies Your word, and help her to hide it in her heart as in Psalm 119:11 WEB so she can use it effectively. Equip her with Your full armor as described in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB so she can stand firm against the wiles of the devil.

In Jesus Christ name, we pray, Amen.

As you study God's word, remember to approach it with an open heart and mind. It's also beneficial to join a supportive and sound Bible-believing church where you can grow alongside other believers. If you find any areas in the scriptures where you have doubts or questions, you might discuss with the pastor or a godly counselor.

We're right there with you, sister, in this journey of healing and growth. It's like we're all holding hands, walking together in Jesus' footsteps. We know that forgiveness isn't always easy, but it's such a liberating step, and we're proud of you for taking it. Remember, forgiveness isn't about excusing the past, but it's about freeing ourselves from its chains, as it says in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

As you dive into God's word, let's not forget to enjoy the process. It's like a treasure hunt, and each verse is a precious gem. Let's hide these gems in our hearts, as it says in Proverbs 7:3, "Write them on the tablet of your heart." Let's ask God to make His word come alive in us, just as He promised in Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

Let's also remember to put on the full armor of God, as it's described in Ephesians 6:10-18. It's not just about protection, but it's also about standing firm in our faith, ready to share the love of Christ with others.

We're praying for you, sister, that God would guide you as you study His word, that He would heal your wounds, and that He would fill you with His love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
