The Unrivalled Friend
Jesus Christ is the faithful Friend who loves you always, through every trial and failure.
A Passion for Souls
A passion for souls means valuing eternal salvation above all else and urging you to seek it for others.
We join with you in this burden for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world and we thank you for lifting them before the throne. Your heart reflects the heart of God who sees every tear and every trial of His people.

We are comforted as you are by the beautiful promise in Revelation 7:9-17 where a great multitude which no man could count out of every nation and of all tribes peoples and languages stands before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in white robes. These are those who came out of the great tribulation and they washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb as written in Revelation 7:14. And the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of waters of life and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes Revelation 7:17. What a shepherd we have who does not abandon us in suffering but guides us through it.

We are living in dark times indeed but we take courage because the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it John 1:5. Jesus Himself told us In the world you have trouble but cheer up I have overcome the world John 16:33. The Word also reminds us that all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution 2 Timothy 3:12 and Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 5:10. Our persecuted family is not forgotten by God and their suffering is not in vain.

We also stand with you in prayer for unsaved children and family and friends for it is the Lord's desire that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9 and that all people should be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. We know there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Acts 4:12 and that if we will confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead we will be saved Romans 10:9. We rejoice that you prayed this in Jesus precious name for it is only through Him we have access to the Father John 14:6.

We pray together now. Father in heaven we lift up to You our Christian families around the world especially those facing persecution for their faith. We ask You to open doors for the Word to go forth as You promise in Colossians 4:3 that God may open to us a door for the word to speak the mystery of Christ. Strengthen them comfort them provide for their daily needs protect them from the enemy and let them feel Your presence as their Shepherd guiding them through every valley. We pray for those who persecute them that their eyes would be opened to the truth. Lord we also lift up every unsaved child family member and friend represented in this request. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit convict their hearts open their eyes to their need for a Savior and bring laborers across their path to share the gospel. Save them Lord that they may be washed in the blood of the Lamb and stand with that great multitude one day. In these dark times let Your light shine brightly through Your church and let us not grow weary in praying and watching. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus our Savior Amen.

We are thankful you shared this burden with us. Your love for persecuted Christian families around the world and for your own children and friends who have not yet come to faith comes through so clearly. Living in what feels like dark times can leave us feeling small and stretched thin, yet you are looking to the Shepherd who does not leave His people in their suffering.

We join you in lifting up those brothers and sisters who face pressure, loss and danger because they follow Jesus. Even when we cannot be there in person, our prayers are one way we stand with them, and our steady care for one another in our own churches reflects that same presence.

For the unsaved loved ones on your heart, it can help to keep their names before the Lord in a simple, sustainable way. Choosing one or two names to pray for by name each morning, and asking God to open doors for a gentle conversation when He provides opportunity, can keep that burden from feeling overwhelming while staying faithful.

Father, we bring before You our persecuted family around the world, asking for Your protection, comfort and daily strength for them. We bring the children, family and friends who do not yet know You, asking that You draw them to Yourself and guide us to love them well. Shepherd us through these days, and keep our hope anchored in You. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we take it up with you to the throne of grace with thankfulness that the Lord has laid this burden upon your heart.

You have asked for the families of Christ around the world who suffer persecution, and for those for whom a door must yet be opened. Be assured that though Israel has been often persecuted, she has not been forsaken. Our Lord Himself has said, If they have persecuted Him, they will also persecute us, and He bids us look for such treatment. Yet the Church of God has often been preserved by persecution, she was never purer, never holier, never nearer to her Saviour than when she was persecuted. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. So we pray that the Shepherd who leads the great multitude of Revelation 7, who shall feed them and guide them unto living fountains of waters and wipe away all tears from their eyes, will be very near to His tried and afflicted people at this hour, to sustain them under every trial, to keep them exact and faithful while lynx eyes are upon them, and to turn their suffering to the glory of His name.

We join you also in prayer for your unsaved children and family and friends, for you say truly that we live in dark times. There is but one salvation, and that is of the Lord. It is not of works, without money and without price, but by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus. The Scripture says, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. It is to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for beside Him there is none else. He Himself is salvation. We pray that the Lord will call by His grace those of your household who are yet without Christ, that He will use you as a spiritual decoy to bring the rest of the family into the gospel net, and that you may yet be a rejoicing family because you are a renewed family, kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation.

In these dark times we rest not in our own light but in Him who is our light and our salvation. May the Lord grant you to see His hand guiding you through all suffering, to know that you are not forsaken, and to continue instant in prayer for both the persecuted saints and the perishing souls around you. We commend you and all those you have named to Him who is able to save unto the uttermost them that come unto God by Him, praying this in the precious name of Jesus our only Saviour. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join with you in this prayer and thank God that you have brought these burdens before Him.

Your heart for Christian families around the world, and especially for those who are persecuted for their faith, reflects the compassion of Christ Himself, who saw the multitudes as sheep having no shepherd and had compassion on them. We pray with you for our brothers and sisters who suffer for the name of Christ, that God would open doors for the gospel, strengthen them in long suffering, and keep them firm. Scripture teaches that salvation comes not only through believing but also through enduring the same sufferings with patience, and that suffering endured for Christ makes His people more glorious. Christ Himself was made perfect through sufferings and became the author of salvation for those who obey Him, so that our present afflictions, when borne with faith, lead to greater glory.

We also pray as you asked from Revelation 7:9-17. What a promise that a great multitude from every nation stands before the throne, clothed in white, and that the Lamb who is the Shepherd will guide them to springs of living water and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Even in dark times, the Shepherd is guiding His flock through all suffering, and nothing that falls upon a patient and faithful soul can overcome the grace that sustains it. Endurance with love refutes the world more powerfully than escape from hardship, and shows that we look to another life.

We lift up your unsaved children and family and friends as you requested. We pray that God in His mercy would draw them to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved, and that they would come to know Him as Saviour. We pray that those who now persecute the church would be blessed and not cursed, that they might be put to shame by the kindness and endurance of believers and be instructed by it, and that many would turn and be saved.

God is indeed our Saviour, and even when times are dark His love and power shine more clearly. May He keep you, strengthen your family, and keep you looking to the cross and to the hope set before us. We pray this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Your heart for persecuted believers and for unsaved family and friends is precious to the Lord, and it is right to bring these burdens to Him in these dark days. The picture you mentioned in Revelation 7:9-17 is a great comfort, a vast multitude from every nation standing before the throne, and the Shepherd Himself guiding them, wiping away every tear and leading them through every suffering to living water.

For our brothers and sisters around the world who face persecution for their faith, know that God has not abandoned them. From the beginning believers have been scattered by persecution, and their faith has been tested like gold in fire. That testing is not wasted. Suffering, when entrusted to God, drives roots deep and builds a depth of character that cannot be formed any other way. The hardships they endure, whether physical or inward, are real, and yet Scripture reminds us that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us. They are light afflictions for a moment, working an eternal weight of glory. We can pray that they will be kept by the power of God through faith, that they will be upheld with pureness, knowledge, patience and kindness, and with the power of God and the word of truth, and that the life of Jesus will be made evident in them even as they bear hardship for His sake.

We have a Savior who understands that suffering completely. He is the captain of our salvation who was made complete through suffering. Though He was the Son, He learned obedience by the things He suffered, and by going to the cross He became the author of eternal salvation for all who obey Him. Because He suffered, He is able to help us when we suffer, and to shepherd us faithfully through every trial until we stand with that multitude before Him.

For your unsaved children, family and friends, the hope is just as sure. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and the door is open to whosoever will believe in Jesus Christ and receive Him. Scripture says whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, and that now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Salvation cannot be bought or earned or inherited, it is a gift of grace to be received. So we pray that they will not receive the grace of God in vain or turn aside from His offer, but that they will respond today, for our eternal destiny rests on what we do with Jesus.

Let us pray together. Father, we lift before You our persecuted family around the world. Comfort them, guard them, provide for their needs, and keep them strong in faith through every fiery trial, until You bring them into Your presence where suffering is no more. Shepherd them day by day as You have promised. And Lord, we lift our unsaved children, family members and friends. By Your Holy Spirit draw them to Jesus, open their eyes to Your grace, and grant them repentance and faith to believe in Your Son and be saved. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior. Amen.
