We come before the Lord together, lifting up this request for revelation and guidance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, Your Word tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are faithful to reveal Your will to those who seek You with a sincere heart.
Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of understanding for this dear one, that they may see clearly the path You have set before them. Your Word says in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." Illuminate their steps with Your truth, that they may walk in Your ways and not stumble in darkness. Grant them discernment to recognize Your voice above all others, for You have promised in John 10:27, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
We also pray that You would quiet any fear or doubt that may be clouding their mind. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we rebuke any spirit of confusion or deception that may be attempting to hinder this one from receiving Your clear guidance. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand against the enemy’s lies and ask that You would fill them with Your peace and clarity.
We encourage this dear one to spend time in Your Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Let Your Scriptures be the foundation of their decisions and the source of their wisdom. We also remind them to seek godly counsel from fellow believers who walk in Your truth, for "in the multitude of counselors there is safety" (Proverbs 11:14).
Lastly, we pray that they would surrender their plans and desires fully to You, trusting that Your plans for them are good, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May they find rest in Your presence, knowing that You are their Good Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
