We come before the throne of grace with hearts open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, seeking divine revelation and guidance for you in this moment. The Word of God assures us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). We stand on this promise as we lift you up, believing that the Lord will illuminate your path and grant you the understanding you seek.
Father in Heaven, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). We ask that You would remove any confusion, doubt, or fear that may be clouding Your perfect will for this dear one. Open their spiritual eyes to see the path You have set before them, and attune their ears to hear Your voice clearly. Grant them discernment to recognize Your guidance, whether it comes through Your Word, the counsel of godly believers, or the still, small voice of Your Spirit.
Lord, we pray that You would reveal Your plans for their life, plans for peace and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, but in all their ways to acknowledge You, knowing that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find comfort in the knowledge that You are the Good Shepherd who leads them beside still waters and restores their soul (Psalm 23:2-3).
We also pray that You would fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may walk in a manner worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen them with all power according to Your glorious might, so that they may have great endurance and patience, joyfully giving thanks to You, Father, who has qualified them to share in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:11-12).
In times of uncertainty, remind them that Your Word is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). May they meditate on Your precepts and fix their eyes on Your ways, delighting in Your statutes and not forgetting Your Word (Psalm 119:15-16). Let them find solace in the truth that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and that Your promises never fail.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or deception that may be attempting to hinder this child of God from receiving the clarity they seek. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has given us the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us (Luke 10:19).
If there are areas in their life where they have not fully surrendered to Your will, Lord, we pray that You would convict their heart and draw them closer to You. Help them to lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles, running with perseverance the race set before them, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).
May they find encouragement in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good, for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even when the path ahead seems unclear, remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
