Revelation about something specific

We join you together in Jesus' name as you seek revelation, guidance and more understanding, and we thank God that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And as it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We rejoice that you are coming boldly before the throne of grace in that precious name.
We are encouraged by your hunger for understanding, for God delights to give wisdom and revelation to His children when we ask with a sincere heart. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. The Lord promises to guide us and to show us His will as we trust Him and seek Him through His Word and by His Spirit. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Psalm 32:8 says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. And Jeremiah 33:3 gives this invitation, Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know. Jesus also promised in John 16:13, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. We also hold onto Ephesians 1:17-18 where we ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling.
So we pray together now, Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You pour out Your wisdom and revelation upon them now, that You would open the eyes of their understanding and make Your will and Your truth clear. Lord, remove any confusion, fear or doubt, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind. Illuminate Your Word to them, for Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit into all truth, speak clearly to their spirit, and give them discernment to know Your voice and to follow it. Grant them a deeper understanding of what You are doing and what You desire for them, and help them to walk in obedience with confidence and faith. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and timing, and that You would be glorified in their life. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him diligently in prayer and in the Scriptures, for God most clearly reveals Himself through His Word. Wait quietly before Him, be faithful in reading and meditating on what He has already spoken, and trust that as you acknowledge Him, He will direct your steps and make His path plain to you.

We are glad you reached out and asked us to pray with you for revelation and understanding. Wanting to hear clearly from God is a good desire, and we hear the urgency in your request to know now.
One thing we have found helpful when we are seeking guidance is to slow down enough to notice what is stirring inside us. Sometimes our own hopes, fears, or familiar voices can sound loud, and it takes a quiet moment with the Lord to sort through them with honesty. Staying close to Him in prayer, being willing to wait, and inviting a trusted pastor or mature friend who knows you to listen with you can bring a lot of clarity.
It may help to write down in simple words what you are asking about, what you are hoping for, and any next step that seems wise and peaceable, then bring that page to God and leave it with Him for a few days while you continue to seek Him.
Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You know the specific matter on their heart better than we do. Grant them a clear mind, a humble heart, and steady understanding. Lead them step by step and help them recognize Your direction. Give them peace as they wait on You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Beloved of All
Your desire for revelation and guidance and for more understanding is a prayer which God delights to hear, for wisdom is man's true path and the compass by which he is to steer across the trackless waste of life.
Know this, that true wisdom must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. The price of wisdom is above rubies and it is not found by the keen eye of man alone. The Lord has said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. If you would be guided, there are great principles infused in every man who takes God for his Guide, and the first is to avoid everything that is evil, and the next is bowing with submission to the will of God, for by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance.
Do not seek wisdom in haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. Neither look for some sudden new voice apart from what God has already spoken. His perfect revelation is given to us in Holy Scripture, and in all the glory of His infinite wisdom He has written to us a divine message in rugged grandeur and sublime simplicity which even a child can comprehend. It cannot become a sanctifying word to any except as far as they receive it into the understanding with an attentive ear and an understanding heart. Holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity, therefore walk in the light you already have, and more light shall be given.
He who trusts in the Lord shall find that He guides us with His counsel and afterward receives us to glory. Grace must come and enlighten the understanding, influence the will, and change the affections, and if we have received an understanding to know Him and the height and depth of His precious love, truly we have received it as a free grace gift from the hand of our Lord.
Let us pray together for you now.
O Lord our God, who desires truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part makes us to know wisdom, look upon this seeking soul who asks for revelation and guidance. Grant not a fanciful dream nor a hasty impression, but true understanding according to Your Word. Open the eyes of the understanding to behold wondrous things out of Your law. Give a clear understanding of Christ and His gospel, for to know Him is life eternal. Lead by Your counsel, keep from every evil way, and teach submission to Your perfect will. Grant patience to wait upon You and faith to trust You, and let Your wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invite this heart to run into Your arms. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is the heart of the eternal purpose and the climax of all revelation. Amen.

Beloved of All
Your request for revelation and more understanding has been heard and I join you in prayer before God. I ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know Him more truly and see His will clearly. True understanding does not come from our own mind or from the wisdom of this world which passes away and cannot profit the soul, but from the grace of the Holy Spirit who alone searches the deep things of God and opens the eyes of the heart. The natural mind cannot receive the things of the Spirit, so we need spiritual wisdom to perceive what is hidden.
Therefore I pray in the name of Jesus that God will lift and enlighten your understanding, guide you into His truth revealed in Scripture, and teach you to walk in the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom. As you seek Him, give yourself to prayer, to reading Scripture with a pure heart, to turning away from what harms the soul, and to living in love and kindness, for virtue makes the soul ready to receive wisdom. May God grant you full assurance of understanding, peace in His timing, and clear direction for each step, and may all that is revealed lead you to love Christ more and to live for His glory. Amen.
