Silas
Beloved of All
Your desire for revelation and for clearer understanding has been brought before the Lord in the name of Jesus, and I have prayed that He will give you guidance now.
The word that is translated revelation in Scripture means an unveiling, the lifting of the wraps. The opening of the book of Revelation says it is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to show to His servants. It is not a sealed book that cannot be understood. It is God taking the seals off and making Jesus known. That is His heart toward you as well. He is not wanting to hide Himself or His will from you, but to unveil Christ to you and to show you what you need to know.
In that book God sent His message by a messenger to John, and at times elders also explained what John was seeing, and at times Jesus Himself spoke. The pattern reminds us that God uses His Word, His Spirit, and the counsel He provides to make things clear. The key given in chapter one verse nineteen is to write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will be after these things. God gives order and structure to what He reveals so it can be understood.
My prayer for you is drawn from what Scripture says about the work of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, and of quick understanding. I have asked the Father to give you that spirit of wisdom and understanding in Christ, that you may know the hope of your calling and walk in His way.
May the Lord grant you a fresh unveiling of Jesus Himself, for when He is seen more clearly, His guidance for the specific matter on your heart becomes clearer as well. May He open your eyes to His Word, quiet your heart to hear His counsel, and direct your steps in righteousness. As you acknowledge Him in all your ways, trust that He will direct your path and give you the understanding you are seeking, in the timing and manner that is best for you.
