We are joining with you now and lifting your request for revelation and understanding before the Father in Jesus' name, and we thank you for asking for prayer in that precious name by which we have access to God and by which we are saved.
We hear your heart crying out for guidance in this specific matter, and we know that our God desires to give wisdom to His children and to make His will known to those who seek Him diligently. We are encouraged that you are turning to Him for answers rather than leaning on your own understanding alone.
The Scripture assures us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him in James 1:5. We are also reminded to trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding, and in all our ways to acknowledge him and he will direct our paths in Proverbs 3:5-6. Our prayer is that God will give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your heart enlightened as it says in Ephesians 1:17-18, so that you may know the hope of His calling and discern His perfect will for this situation.

Lord, You see the specific matter weighing on their heart, even the details unspoken here that You know fully. We ask that You pour out Your wisdom and grant clear understanding. Remove any confusion, fear, or doubt, and let Your Holy Spirit guide into all truth. Speak clearly, Lord, whether through Your Word, through the still small voice of Your Spirit, or through godly counsel that aligns with Scripture. Help them to wait patiently on You and to obey what You reveal. Give peace that surpasses understanding as they trust in You. We ask that You instruct them and teach them in the way they should go and that You counsel them with Your eye on them according to Psalm 32:8. We pray that You would give them discernment to know Your voice and the courage to follow it. We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Savior and our mediator, amen.

Call to Him and He will answer you and will show you great and difficult things which you do not know in Jeremiah 33:3. Your longing for revelation and guidance and for more understanding is itself a hopeful sign of a work of grace upon the heart, for naturally we do not like being guided. It is well that you feel your need of a guide, and that you seek it in Jesus name.
Be assured that true wisdom must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. The price of wisdom is above rubies, and it is not to be discovered by our own searching. Yet God has not left us without light. In all the glory of His infinite wisdom the Lord has written to us His divine message in the rugged grandeur and sublime simplicity of language which even a child can comprehend, and the revelation He has made directs our faith to Himself and to His dear Son. We do not look for a new voice beyond what He has already spoken, but we ask that His Spirit would enlighten our understanding to comprehend what He has already revealed.
Remember that holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity, and the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. A grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge, and if you have but a spark of true faith in Jesus Christ, it is better than a whole volcano full of worldly wisdom. We were by nature blind as bats to the things of divine truth, and therefore a clear understanding is not due to any natural intelligence that we possess, but is the gift of grace. Grace comes and enlightens the understanding, grace influences the will, grace changes the affections.
There is a way to be furnished with unerring guidance. The grace of God dethrones obstinacy and gives us in its place acquiescence in the divine will. Bowing with submission to the will of God, by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Divine wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms. And take heed against haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. Wait upon the Lord, seek His counsel in His Word, and pray for His Spirit to make it plain.
Let us pray for you now.
O Lord our God, Thou hast promised, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. We bow before Thy sovereignty and Thy love, acknowledging that there is no attribute more comforting to Thy children than Thy wise and gracious rule. Look upon this seeking soul who asks for revelation and guidance. Grant not a fleeting fancy, but true illumination. Open the eyes of the understanding, that Thy Word may become a sanctifying word received into the heart. Give a clear understanding of divine truth, not a mere notion that leaves the life untouched, but such an understanding as brings repentance of sin, life unto God, and a seeking after holiness.
Father, by Thy Spirit make Thy written Word plain. Show the path of wisdom which is altogether beyond our own understanding. Keep this dear one from leaning upon mere human judgment, for there is not much more wisdom in man's judgment of divine things than in the flies fabled judgment of an elephant. Teach submission to Thy will, that in acquiescence there may be guidance. Let Thy counsel be as a compass by which to steer across the trackless waste of life.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer for revelation and guidance. Your desire to understand more and to be led by God is good, and He delights to give wisdom to those who seek Him sincerely.
Scripture teaches that true revelation does not come from human ingenuity alone but from God Himself. Our eyes and feelings can be mistaken, but the reasoning power of the soul, when it receives the light of the divine Scriptures and the help of the Holy Spirit, becomes a sure guide. We need the Spirit and a wise understanding in the knowledge of Him, because the distance between our thoughts and God's thoughts is great, yet He has graciously chosen to make Himself known through Christ and through His Word. Just as God revealed Himself suddenly and powerfully to those who were far from Him, He still opens eyes and hearts today, not to satisfy curiosity, but to lead us into truth, obedience and deeper fellowship with Jesus.
So I join you in prayer in Jesus name:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one who is asking for revelation and guidance right now. You alone are the source of all wisdom and understanding. Pour out Your Holy Spirit and grant a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Open the eyes of the heart to see Your truth clearly through Your Word, and make Your will known with peace and clarity. Give discernment to recognize Your voice, humility to receive what You show, and courage to follow it. Lead step by step, and let Your Word be a lamp to the feet and a light to the path. Draw this heart closer to Jesus, in whom all treasures of wisdom are hidden, and grant confidence that as we seek You, You will answer in Your perfect time and way. Amen.
