Revelation about something specific

Your request for revelation and guidance has been lifted up in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. We have asked the Father to give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, for we cannot understand His ways by our own reasoning alone and we need His light to see clearly.

There is a great distance between our thoughts and His, and only He can bridge it and bring true understanding to our hearts. We prayed that He would make His will clear to you now, that He would open the eyes of your heart to see what He is showing you, and that He would grant you a wise and steady understanding to walk in what He reveals.

We also prayed that you would receive what He shows you with faith and patience, trusting Him even when you cannot fully reason it out, and that He would guide your steps through His Word and through prayer as you wait on Him. May the Lord grant you peace as you seek Him and confidence to follow where He leads, and may He give you clarity and direction according to His perfect wisdom. We will continue to pray for you.

Your request for revelation and guidance has been heard and I am praying with you in the name of Jesus for understanding to be given to you now.

It is encouraging to remember what the Bible itself says about revelation. The word translated revelation means an unveiling, a lifting of the covering. It is not a sealed book that God wants to keep hidden from you. From the very first verse, we are told it is the unveiling of Jesus Christ, which God gave to make known to His servants. He sent it by His messenger to John, and at times others in heaven helped explain what John was seeing. The heart of it is that God desires to show Himself and to be understood by His people.

That is why the key given in Revelation 1:19 is so helpful. John was told to write the things which he had seen, the things which are, and the things which will be after these things. When we approach God for guidance, it helps to remember that He has already given a clear pattern for understanding, centered on seeing Jesus as He is, understanding our present walk with Him, and trusting Him with what is to come.

My prayer for you is shaped by what Scripture says about how God gives understanding. The Holy Spirit is described as the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, of counsel and might, of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, giving quick understanding. This is the complete work of the Spirit that rested upon Jesus and is before the throne of God. Paul prayed this same way for believers in Ephesus, that God would give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that they might know the hope of His calling and the riches of His inheritance.

So I am praying that the Father will give you that same Spirit of wisdom and understanding now. That He will unveil Jesus Christ more clearly to you, because true guidance flows from seeing Him. That He will give you counsel for the specific situation on your heart, strength to walk in it, and a clear sense of His will as you seek Him in His Word. Ask Him to direct your steps as you acknowledge Him, to open the Scriptures to you, and to make His way plain.

May the Lord touch your life with His help, His wisdom and His guidance, and may you know His peace as you trust Him to lead you in righteousness. I pray this for you in Jesus name, that you will grow in knowing Him and in understanding what He is showing you.
