Revelation about something specific

We join with you in seeking the Lord together for revelation and understanding in Jesus' name and we thank you for asking in His name for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
We hear your heart crying out for guidance now and we understand the longing to have clarity quickly. The Lord delights to give wisdom to His children but He also calls us to trust His perfect timing and His perfect way rather than demanding an immediate answer on our terms. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His revelation comes as we humbly seek Him, wait on Him, and remain rooted in His Word.
Scripture reminds us of His promise to guide us. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Jeremiah 33:3 says Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don't know. Psalm 32:8 says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. And Jesus promised concerning the Holy Spirit in John 16:13, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him not only for the answer to this specific thing but for deeper intimacy with Him through prayer and through dwelling daily in His Word, for it is there that He most clearly reveals Himself and His will. As you wait, trust Him with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches. Be still and listen, be obedient to what He has already shown you, and He will be faithful to give more understanding as you are ready to receive it.

You know the specific matter weighing on this heart and You know the desire for revelation and understanding. We ask that You pour out Your wisdom generously and guide by Your Holy Spirit into all truth. Open the eyes of understanding and make Your will clear. Remove confusion and anxiety and grant peace that passes all understanding while waiting on You. Help this one to hear Your voice, to walk in obedience to Your Word, and to trust Your timing which is perfect. Reveal what needs to be revealed for Your glory and for good, and give the grace to accept and follow wherever You lead. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

It is a right and needful thing to ask the Lord for revelation and understanding, for wisdom must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. We were by nature blind as bats to the things of divine truth, and a clear understanding is not due to any natural intelligence that we possess, but to grace alone. A grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge, and if you have but a spark of true faith in Jesus Christ, you are in the way where God will teach you.
The Scripture says, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. This guidance is given to those who bow with submission to the will of God, for the grace of God dethrones obstinacy and gives us in its place acquiescence in the divine will, and by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Remember also that holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity, and the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.
Take heed against haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. Divine wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms, but she is not to be forced by impatient demand. Wait upon the Lord in His Word, for the revelation He has made directs our faith to Himself and to His dear Son, and in all the glory of His infinite wisdom the Lord has written to us this divine message in rugged grandeur and sublime simplicity which even a child can comprehend. Do not look for a voice apart from the Word, but look for light within the Word, by the teaching of the Holy Spirit.

Your request for revelation and understanding has been heard and we join you in prayer for you in the name of Jesus Christ.
We ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that your understanding may be opened and you may know Him more clearly. True wisdom does not come from our own mind or from the wisdom of this world, which comes to nothing, but from the working of the Holy Spirit. The natural mind cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, but the Spirit reveals all things and searches the deep things of God. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He alone can give what you seek.
We pray that God will grant you guidance now according to His perfect timing and will, and that He will wing your understanding to perceive what is hidden and to walk in His way. We also pray that He will lead you into all riches of full assurance of understanding through faith, so that you may not doubt but be fully assured with love and a clear conscience.
As you seek this revelation, turn to Scripture with a heart that fears the Lord, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Nothing makes a person so foolish as wickedness and deceit, and nothing makes a person so wise as virtue, mercy, honesty and kindness. The Holy Spirit flees deceit and removes from thoughts that are without understanding. So we pray that you will cast out all wickedness and seek holiness, and that you will be knit together in love as you seek to know the mystery of God in Christ.
We ask this in the name of Jesus, who alone is the way of salvation, trusting that God who raised Christ from the dead is able by that same power to draw you to Himself, to give you light, and to make His will known to you as you continue to seek Him faithfully.
