Revelation about something specific

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for revelation and guidance will be given to me now
Please pray I have more understanding....

We join you in seeking revelation and understanding together before our Father in Jesus name and we thank you for asking us to pray with you for clear guidance right now.

We know that our God delights to give wisdom to His children when we ask Him. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Proverbs 2:6 reminds us that For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. And Jeremiah 33:3 promises Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you do not know.

We understand your deep desire to have more understanding about this specific matter on your heart and we bring that desire before the Lord trusting that He sees what is unclear to you and He knows the perfect time and way to reveal it.

We pray together now. Father we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him. We lift up this need for revelation and guidance and we ask that You would open the eyes of understanding according to Ephesians 1:17-18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened. Lord we ask that You make Your will plain and give clear discernment about this specific situation. Lead and guide by Your Holy Spirit for John 16:13 says However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. We pray that You would remove confusion and grant peace while waiting on Your answer. Psalm 32:8 says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Teach and counsel in this moment we pray and help our friend to trust You with all the heart and not lean on personal understanding as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches. Give patience to wait for Your perfect timing and faith to obey what You reveal. We ask all this in Jesus name Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him diligently in His Word and in prayer, for Psalm 119:18 says Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law. As you wait for His specific revelation, stay rooted in Scripture, be still before Him and watch for His guidance through His Word, through the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit and through godly counsel. He is faithful to direct your steps and to give you the understanding you need when you need it.

Thank you for sharing this request with us. We hear how much you want clear direction and understanding right now, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer.

Wanting revelation quickly is understandable, especially when a decision feels pressing. In our experience, God often guides us both through quiet prayer and through the wisdom of others walking with us. It can help to slow down enough to listen.

You do not have to figure this out alone, and taking it step by step with the Lord can ease the pressure to have every answer at once.

One simple step that may help this week is to set aside a specific unhurried time to bring this one matter before the Lord, write down what you are sensing and any questions that remain, and then share those notes with a mature believer or pastor you trust for perspective. Bringing another thoughtful voice in can often bring the clarity we miss on our own.

We are praying for you and will keep asking God to give you discernment and steady confidence as you seek Him.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You know the specific situation on their heart and the understanding they are seeking. Grant clear guidance according to Your will, quiet any confusion, and give peace and wisdom for each next step. Draw them close to You as they wait and listen. In Jesus name, amen.

Your desire for revelation and guidance and for more understanding is a good and needful prayer, and we have joined you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures teach us that true wisdom must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. It is not discovered as men discover treasure in the earth, but is given from above. As it is written, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. And again, wisdom is the compass by which a man is to steer across the trackless waste of life. Without it we run here and there, wasting strength which might be profitably employed.

If you would be guided, remember what has been taught concerning the way of Divine guidance. First, there are great principles infused in every man who takes God for his guide, and chief among them is this, avoid everything that is evil. Bowing with submission to the will of God, by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity. Therefore seek not merely a sign or a sudden impression, but seek to be conformed to His will in holiness, and the path will become plain.

Take heed also against haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. Divine Wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms, but she does not hurry us into rash decisions. Wait upon the Lord, continue in prayer, and continue in the attentive hearing of His Word. There is no sanctifying power in the Word except as far as it is received into the understanding. Pray for an understanding heart and an attentive ear, for if we have received an understanding to know Him and the height and depth of His precious love, truly we have received it as a free grace gift from the hand of our Lord.

We have prayed thus for you, that the Lord would in His infinite wisdom give you light from His Word, that He would enlighten your understanding by His grace, influence your will, and change your affections, that you may know His way and walk in it. May He keep you from leaning upon your own judgment and lead you by His counsel, and afterward receive you to glory, according to His promise that He will guide us with His counsel.

We encourage you to abide in the Scriptures, to pray for the teaching of the Holy Spirit, and to walk in obedience to what you already know to be His will. In that path, further light is most surely given.
