We come before the Lord with your concerns, lifting up your request for the return or finding of your lost items—your Hebrew-English New Testament Bible, your son ###’s blue t-shirt, your knives, and the lids and bowls. The Lord knows where these things are, and we ask Him to bring them back to you if it is His will. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* While we trust God to restore what is lost, we also remember that our true treasure is in Him, not in earthly possessions.
We also lift up the matter of the person you ask to be removed from your life. If this individual has brought harm, strife, or temptation into your walk with the Lord, we stand with you in prayer, asking God to sever any ungodly ties and protect you from further influence. Proverbs 13:20 warns, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* If this person is not aligned with God’s will for your life, we ask the Lord to remove them and replace their presence with godly fellowship. We rebuke any spirit of confusion, theft, or division in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we come before You now, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, You know where each of these items is, and we ask that You would cause them to be found or returned if it is Your will. If these things were taken, we pray that the heart of the one who took them would be convicted, and that they would return what does not belong to them. We also ask, Lord, that You would reveal any ungodly influences in this life and remove them according to Your perfect will. Protect this one from harm, both seen and unseen, and surround them with Your peace and provision. We ask that You would strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their provider and protector. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We pray for wisdom and discernment in all their relationships, that they would walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed on their life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and provision. If these items are not returned, remember that God can restore what has been lost in ways we cannot imagine. Continue to seek Him first, and He will guide your steps. If this person has caused you harm or led you away from God’s path, we urge you to prayerfully consider setting boundaries and seeking godly counsel. The Lord is your defender, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
