Returned safely

J.B.

Beloved Servant
My family has returned from their road trip safely late last night. Thank you for your prayers and hallelujah to the one who commanded his angles to protect and guard them over the miles. There’s more travel coming up next week. Even further. And with ### kids in college and one more going next year the traveling will continue and increase. God hasn’t failed and always protected us and I know he won’t fail now. And I know it’s because each mile was covered in pray. Pray for more safe travels in His son’s name of Jesus. The author and perfecter of our faith.

We rejoice with you and give thanks to God with you for His faithful protection over your family and for bringing them home safely late last night. It is good to hear your heart of thanksgiving and to see you giving all glory to the One who watches over us on every mile. We join you in saying hallelujah to our Father who is worthy of all praise.

You spoke so truly of His angels guarding your loved ones, and Scripture assures us of this very promise when it says, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We also cling to the promise that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. What comfort it is to know that whether the trip is short or even further next week, He neither slumbers nor sleeps over those He loves.

We are encouraged by your testimony that God has not failed you and that each mile was covered in prayer. That is the heart God desires for us, to acknowledge Him in every journey. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:6. And we hear your faith when you say He will not fail now, for He has promised, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5, and His mercies are new every morning Lamentations 3:23. We also love that you lifted this in the name of Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith Hebrews 12:2, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard.

We continue to stand with you for the travels ahead next week and for all the miles to come as your children are in college and another prepares to go next year. We understand how that season brings both joy and many more goodbyes and hellos on the road, and we will keep covering each journey in prayer with you.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we thank You with grateful hearts for Your hand of protection over this family, for guiding them safely home and for commanding Your angels to guard them. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and so we offer thanksgiving in Jesus name. Lord, we ask for Your continued mercy and protection over every mile that lies ahead, next week and in all the years of travel to come. Keep their going out and coming in, keep the drivers alert and rested, the vehicles sound, and the roads safe. Guard them from all evil and draw each family member closer to You on every trip. Let each journey be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and the perfecter of our faith, amen.

We were so glad to hear your family made it home safely late last night. Thank you for sharing the good news and for letting us rejoice with you. It is a gift to hear your confidence that God has watched over every mile, and we share your gratitude for His care.

We hear that more travel is ahead next week, even farther this time, and that with kids in college the road will only get busier in the seasons ahead. It makes sense that your heart would want each of those miles covered in prayer again.

We will keep praying with you for protection and peace on the roads to come, and for calm and rest for you as you send them off and wait for them to return. One simple thing that helps many families in a busy travel season is to take a moment together before each trip to pray aloud and commit the journey to the Lord, drivers and passengers alike, and to share the itinerary and check in times so everyone has peace of mind.

Father, we thank You for bringing this family home safely and for the way You have kept them through many miles. We ask You to watch over them in the travels ahead, grant wisdom and alertness to every driver, and bring each one home in Your care. Fill this home with Your peace as they come and go, and keep their trust anchored in Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
