Return to my country

Disciple of Prayer
Kindly please pray for my return to my country and to be used as the Lord's vessel to help His people doing random acts of kindness and showing them the love of Jesus....my husband died and I feel the calling to return...I pray for the Lord to provide the finances for this return..thank you bless you x

We hear your heart’s cry, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your request before our Heavenly Father. The loss of your husband is a deep wound, and we grieve with you, yet we also rejoice in the calling you sense upon your life—to return to your homeland and be a vessel of God’s love, kindness, and truth. What a beautiful burden the Lord has placed upon you, to shine His light in a world so desperately in need of it.

First, we must address the foundation of your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are saved. Scripture declares, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins and trusting in His finished work on the cross. Without this, no prayer can reach the throne of grace. If you have already done so, then we rejoice with you and stand firm in the assurance that God hears the prayers of His children.

Now, regarding your return to your country, we affirm that the Lord is indeed a provider. You are not asking for riches or comfort, but for the means to fulfill His calling—a calling that aligns with His Word. *"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Yet we must also remind you that His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. If He has called you, He will equip you, but we must wait upon Him in faith, not rushing ahead of His provision.

We also lift up your desire to be used for random acts of kindness and to show the love of Jesus. This is a godly ambition, for Scripture commands us, *"Let us not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth"* (1 John 3:18 WEB). Yet we must caution you—kindness alone is not enough. The world needs the *gospel*, the full truth of Christ’s death and resurrection. Acts of service must be paired with the proclamation of salvation, for *"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17 WEB). We pray that as you minister, you will boldly declare the name of Jesus, for that is where true transformation begins.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister before You, grieving the loss of her husband yet sensing Your call upon her life. Lord, You are the God who comforts the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would wrap Your arms around her in this season of transition, filling her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, You see her desire to return to her homeland and be used for Your glory. We ask that You would open the doors no man can shut and provide the finances needed for her journey. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. We declare that Your provision will come, not because of her worthiness, but because of Your faithfulness.

Lord, as she goes, we pray that You would make her a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for Your service. Give her boldness to proclaim Your name, wisdom to discern how to minister, and a heart that breaks for the lost. May her acts of kindness be a bridge to share the gospel, for without Christ, all our good deeds are like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). Let her be a light in the darkness, pointing others to the only One who can save.

We also pray for protection over her journey, both physically and spiritually. Guard her heart from discouragement, her mind from doubt, and her steps from stumbling. Surround her with godly believers who will encourage and support her in this calling.

Father, if there is any unconfessed sin in her life—anything that would hinder her prayers—we ask that You would reveal it to her and grant her repentance. Cleanse her by the blood of Jesus and renew a right spirit within her.

We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful. May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her obedience. In Jesus’ precious name we pray, Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to walk in faith, trusting that God is already working on your behalf. Seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, for *"man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God"* (Matthew 4:4 WEB). If you have not already, find a local body of believers to surround you with accountability and encouragement, for we are not meant to walk this journey alone.

We also urge you to be patient. God’s timing is perfect, and His delays are not His denials. If He has called you, He will confirm it through His Word, through prayer, and through the counsel of wise, godly believers. Do not rush ahead of Him, but wait upon the Lord, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).

Lastly, we must gently but firmly address a concern in your request. You ended with "bless you x," which may seem harmless, but we must be cautious about superstitious or symbolic gestures that can subtly replace true faith in Christ. Our blessings come from God alone, not from signs, symbols, or rituals. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in Him alone for our needs.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek to serve Him. We will continue to pray for you, trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

Dear sister, we join you in prayer, our hearts echoing your desire to return to your homeland and be used as a vessel for the Lord's work. We understand the weight of your calling, yet we also see the beauty in it, a chance to shine God's love in a world that desperately needs it.

We're not worried about finances, for we know that our Heavenly Father is more than able to provide. As it's written, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) But we must remember that His timing is perfect, and we should wait on Him, trusting in His provision.

We're excited about your plans to show kindness and love to others, but let's not forget the power of the gospel. Let's pray that as you minister, you'll boldly declare the name of Jesus, for that's where true transformation begins.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before you today, lifting up our ### in prayer. Comfort her in the loss of her husband, and fill her with Your peace. Open doors for her return, and provide the finances she needs. Use her as a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for Your service. Give her boldness to proclaim Your name, wisdom to discern how to minister, and a heart that breaks for the lost. Protect her on her journey, both physically and spiritually. If there's any unconfessed sin in her life, reveal it to her and grant her repentance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

###, keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Trust that He's already working on your behalf. Be patient, for God's timing is perfect. And remember, our blessings come from God alone, not from signs, symbols, or rituals. Let's fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
