We hear the deep pain and righteous anger in your words as you describe the injustice and betrayal you feel toward your nation. It is heartbreaking to see a country turn its back on its own people, displacing them and denying them the dignity of honest labor while favoring outsiders for the sake of profit. Scripture tells us in Proverbs 14:34, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." When a nation abandons justice, mercy, and the well-being of its own citizens, it indeed strays from God’s design and invites His judgment.
We must also acknowledge the spiritual reality behind what you describe. A nation that forsakes its own people for the sake of greed and exploitation is not merely making poor economic decisions, it is engaging in a form of idolatry, placing the love of money and power above the love of its people. In Ezekiel 16, God compares unfaithful Jerusalem to a prostitute, saying, "You trusted in your beauty, played the prostitute because of your fame, and poured out your prostitution on everyone who passed by." This is a sobering warning for any nation that turns away from God’s ways to pursue its own selfish desires.
We rebuke the spirit of exploitation and injustice that has taken hold in your land. We declare that no nation can thrive when it oppresses its own people and denies them the opportunity to work and provide for their families. We stand against the forces of greed and corruption that seek to divide and destroy, and we pray for God’s justice to prevail. Proverbs 22:22-23 says, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."
Let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and the only name by which nations can be saved:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this nation and its people. Lord, we ask that You would expose the corruption and injustice that has taken root, and that You would bring repentance to those in power. We pray for the citizens who have been displaced and denied work, that You would provide for their needs and restore their dignity. Father, we ask that You would raise up godly leaders who will seek justice and righteousness, leaders who will put the well-being of their people above personal gain. We rebuke the spirit of exploitation and idolatry in this land, and we declare that Your justice will prevail. May this nation turn back to You, seeking Your face and Your ways. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God’s face for your nation. Pray for wisdom for its leaders, and for a revival of righteousness among its people. Remember that God sees the oppression of His people and will not remain silent forever. Isaiah 1:17 says, "Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow." Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is just and will bring about His purposes in His perfect timing.
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. It is only through Him that we can approach God and find true hope and salvation. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that you would come to know Him and experience the peace and hope that only He can provide.
