Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer for your father and your family has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before our heavenly Father.
We come to the Father directly through Jesus Christ, because Jesus has opened the way for us. It is in His name that we have access, and the Father Himself loves those who love His Son and believe that He came from God. When we see Jesus, we see the heart of the Father, for the Son does not act apart from the Father but in perfect harmony with Him. The words He speaks and the works He does are the Father's works dwelling in Him, and all of His healing of sick bodies and mending of broken lives reveals what the Father is like. That is why we can bring every detail of your father's need to the Father with confidence that He hears us, just as Jesus said the Father always hears Him.
We pray for your father who remains bedridden after his stroke and surgery. God is the one who designed the brain and the body with such wonder, the way it receives signals and interprets them into thought and movement and senses, and He fully understands every neuro issue, every reflex and response that has been affected. We ask the Father, in Jesus name, to lay His healing hand upon your father. We ask Him to regulate blood pressure and vitals, to bring healing to infections and seizures and to the bedsores that have not healed, to restore strength so that he may again eat and speak and walk, and to restore his senses and reflexes according to the Father's mercy and will. We pray that the Father would grant wisdom and skill to every doctor and nurse and therapist caring for him, for all good wisdom comes from above.
We also pray for the forgiveness of sins, which comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who alone bore judgment and offers life to all who trust in Him. To honor the Son is to honor the Father, and to receive the Son is to have the Father also. We ask that your father and your whole family would know that forgiveness and the assurance of being kept by the Father's own name and power.
For your family in this long and difficult season, we ask the Father to pour out unity and strength and faith and peace that guards your hearts. We pray that He would sanctify your home and let His presence dwell there.
You mentioned fear of black magic and curses and witchcraft. Scripture teaches us not to live in fear of such things when we belong to Christ. Those who are in Christ are kept by the Father, and no curse can separate them from His love and protection. The enemy has no claim over a home entrusted to Jesus. Our safety is not in rituals or counter charms, but in belonging to the Son who has overcome all darkness. We pray that the Father would drive away all fear, that He would guard your household from every evil influence, and that you would rest in the peace of knowing you are held securely in His hands.
Above all we pray as Jesus prayed, not my will but Your will be done. We ask for complete healing and restoration, and we submit that request to the Father's perfect wisdom and love, trusting that whatever He does is good and that He is working even now for His glory and your good. May the Father keep you, sustain you, and let you see His compassion day by day as you look to Jesus, who faithfully shows us the Father.
Father, we thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus. We lift this father and this family to You. Touch the body that You created, bring healing where there is brokenness, give wisdom to those who care for him, forgive sins through the blood of Christ, and keep this family in Your mercy, love and peace. Amen.
