We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden after a brain stroke, and we ask for Your divine intervention, Father. You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every fiber of our being. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Lord, we stand on this truth and ask for complete restoration—neurologically, physically, and emotionally—for this beloved child of Yours.
We pray for the healing of every damaged pathway in the brain, that signals may be restored and movement returned. Strengthen the muscles that have weakened, and grant the ability to eat, speak, and walk once more. Regulate the blood pressure and all vital functions, for You hold our very breath in Your hands. We ask for protection against infections, seizures, and complications like bed sores, and we thank You for the medical team attending to ###. Grant them wisdom, skill, and compassion as they work toward his recovery.
Father, we also bring before You the spiritual concerns raised in this prayer. We rebuke any influence of black magic, curses, or witchcraft that may seek to bind this family or household. The Bible is clear in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that such practices are an abomination to You, and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, as Your Word assures in Isaiah 54:17. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, that they may dwell in the shelter of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).
We also lift up the family, who are carrying this burden with love and faith. Strengthen them, Lord, and fill their hearts with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your provision, comfort, and guidance as they walk this difficult path.
Father, we acknowledge that healing comes from You alone, and we trust in Your perfect will. If it is Your plan, we ask for a complete and miraculous recovery. But if Your purpose is different, we pray for the strength to accept it and the grace to trust You even in the unknown. We also ask for forgiveness of sins, for we know that You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May this trial draw this family closer to You, deepening their faith and dependence on Your goodness.
Lord, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare Your power over sickness, over darkness, and over every scheme of the enemy. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all.
We love You, Lord, and we trust You. Amen.
