We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for so long after a brain stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this body in its mother’s womb and knows every neuron, every synapse, every cell. We ask You to move in power, restoring what has been damaged. Let the neuro pathways reconnect according to Your perfect design. Bring movement back to limbs that have been still, regulate blood pressure and every vital sign, and grant strength for eating, speaking, and walking again. Heal infections, prevent seizures, and close bed sores so that no further harm comes to this body You created.
Lord, we also bring before You the medical team caring for ###. Fill them with wisdom beyond their training, with patience, and with skillful hands. May every treatment they administer be guided by Your hand, and may they see the fruit of their labor as this dear one progresses.
We recognize that healing is not only physical but spiritual. We ask for forgiveness of sins—known and unknown—and for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. May this trial draw ### and his family closer to You, deepening their trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.
Father, we must address the mention of black magic, curses, and witchcraft. Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). These things are not of You, and we renounce any hold they may claim. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the blood of Jesus breaks every chain. We pray a hedge of protection around this home, that no evil may enter, and that the peace of Christ would reign.
We also lift up the family carrying this burden. Give them strength for each day, wisdom in decision-making, and a deep assurance of Your presence. Provide for their needs—emotional, physical, and financial—and surround them with a community of believers who will uphold them in prayer and practical support.
Above all, we pray that this trial would bring glory to Your name. Whether through miraculous healing or through sustained grace in the journey, may Your will be done. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and the only name through which we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is possible (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promises.
Strengthen this family’s faith. Let them see Your hand at work, and may they give You all the praise. We commit this dear one into Your hands, trusting You for complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
