We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is bedridden after a brain stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the Healer of all our diseases, and we trust in Your mighty power to restore health and strength. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will satisfy us with long life and show us Your salvation (Psalm 91:16).
Lord, we pray for complete healing of every neuro issue in this beloved one’s body. Restore movement, regulate blood pressure, and bring all vital signs to normal. Strengthen their body so they may eat, talk, and walk again as they once did. Smoothly restore their senses and reflexes, and bring healing to any infections, seizures, or bed sores. We ask that You grant wisdom and skill to the medical team attending to them, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision and treatment (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we also lift up this family, asking for Your mercy, love, and protection to surround them. Give them patience, endurance, and faith as they walk this difficult path. We ask for Your forgiveness over any sins in this one’s life, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also take authority over any claims of black magic, curses, or witchcraft that may be mentioned. The Bible is clear that these things have no power over those who are in Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every evil spirit and command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we pray for a divine miracle in this situation. We know that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37), and we ask that You move in ways that only You can. Strengthen this one’s faith and the faith of their family, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find peace in Your presence and hope in Your promises.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your healing power be made manifest for all to see. Amen.
