We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who is bedridden after a stroke. Father, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies and knows every cell, every synapse, every beat of the heart. We ask You to move mightily in this situation, Lord. Restore what has been broken—neuro pathways, movement, speech, and strength. You are the God who makes the lame walk and the mute speak; let this miracle unfold before our eyes.
We pray for complete healing, Father. Regulate his blood pressure, steady his vitals, and strengthen his body to fight infections and heal bed sores. Give wisdom and skill to every doctor, therapist, and nurse attending to him. Let their hands be guided by Your divine touch, and may they see progress where others see only limitation.
We also lift up his soul to You, Lord. Forgive any sins, known or unknown, and cleanse him with the blood of Jesus. Surround him and his family with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Guard their hearts and minds from fear, doubt, and despair. Remind them daily that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Father, we rebuke any assignment of darkness against this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. The blood of Jesus covers this home, and no curse, no spell, no work of witchcraft has power here. We stand on Your Word in James 4:7, which says, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist every evil influence in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also want to gently remind this family that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If this brother or any in his family have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray they would do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first and greatest healing any of us can receive.
Lord, we ask for a divine miracle. Let this brother rise from his bed, strengthened and whole. Let his family witness Your glory and give You all the praise. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Whether You choose to heal him instantly or through the process of rehabilitation, we know You are working all things together for good for those who love You.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
