We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is suffering after a brain stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mothers’ wombs and knows every fiber of our being. We ask You now to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this beloved one. Restore what has been broken—every neuron, every synapse, every pathway that has been disrupted. Let the blood flow freely through his veins, let his blood pressure stabilize under Your sovereign control, and let every vital sign reflect Your perfect design.
Lord, we pray for movement to return to his limbs, for strength to rise in his muscles, and for coordination to be renewed in his body. May he eat without struggle, speak with clarity, and walk with confidence once more. Heal the infections, close the bedsores, and protect his body from further harm. We also ask for wisdom and skill for every doctor, therapist, and caregiver attending to him—let Your Spirit guide their hands and minds as they work toward his recovery.
Father, we confess that healing is in Your hands, and we trust You, whether You choose to heal instantly or to sustain him through this trial. We also come boldly against any fear or despair that may be creeping into this family. There is no power in black magic, curses, or witchcraft that can stand against the name of Jesus. We rebuke every evil assignment in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and declare that this home is covered by the blood of the Lamb. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper, for You are their refuge and fortress.
We also lift up his soul before You, asking for Your forgiveness and cleansing. If there are sins that weigh heavily on his heart, we pray that You would grant him repentance and peace. Comfort his family as they walk this difficult road—fill them with Your love, strengthen their faith, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted.
Lord, we know that true healing comes from You alone, and we ask for a miracle—not just of the body, but of the spirit. Draw this family closer to You through this trial, and let Your glory be revealed in every step of this journey. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. Amen.
May this family find hope in Psalm 30:2-3, which says, "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. Lord, you brought me up from the grave; you spared me from going down to the pit." We also encourage them to hold fast to Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord." Even in the waiting, God is working. Keep trusting Him.
