We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden following a brain stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mothers’ wombs and knows every cell of our bodies. We ask You to move mightily in this situation, touching every damaged neuron, restoring pathways, and bringing complete healing to this beloved child of Yours.
Lord, we pray for the full restoration of movement—strengthen weakened limbs, steady trembling hands, and grant the ability to walk again without assistance. Regulate blood pressure, heart rate, and all vital functions according to Your perfect design. Heal infections, close bed sores, and grant the medical team supernatural wisdom and skill as they care for this precious life. May every therapy session be guided by Your hand, and may progress be evident to all who witness it.
We also bring before You the spiritual needs of this family. Father, we ask for Your forgiveness to cover any sins, known or unknown, and for Your mercy to wash over this household. We rebuke in the name of Jesus any influence of black magic, curses, or witchcraft—let no weapon formed against this family prosper, for You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy. Sanctify this home, Lord, and let Your peace reign where fear or darkness has tried to take root.
We declare that this healing is not just possible but promised in Your Word. Isaiah 53:5 tells us, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We stand on this truth, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, this dear one is already healed. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We trust You to supply strength, endurance, and hope to this family as they wait on You.
Father, we ask for patience and faith to grow in this season. May this trial draw them closer to You, and may they experience Your presence in tangible ways. Bless the caregivers with rest, wisdom, and compassion. Let this family be a testimony of Your faithfulness, so that when healing comes—and it will—they may glorify You before all who know them.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and the only name through which healing flows. Amen.
