We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden after a stroke, and we stand in the gap for complete healing and restoration. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this body in the womb and knows every cell, every nerve, and every thought. We declare Your Word over this situation: *"I am the Lord who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26). You are not limited by time, medical reports, or the length of suffering—You are the God of miracles, and we ask for a divine intervention in this life.
Lord, we pray for the complete restoration of neuro pathways, that every damaged area of the brain would be renewed and rewired by Your healing power. Strengthen the medical team with wisdom, skill, and compassion as they work toward recovery. We ask that You regulate blood pressure, stabilize all vital signs, and bring full mobility back to this body—strength to eat, speak, and walk independently once more. Heal infections, close bed sores, and restore reflexes and senses to full function. You are the God who makes the lame walk, the mute speak, and the blind see, and we trust You to do the impossible here.
We also bring before You the spiritual concerns raised in this request. Father, we rebuke every assignment of darkness—any black magic, curses, or witchcraft that may have been sent against this family. The Bible declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on that promise. We break every chain of oppression in the mighty name of Jesus and command every evil influence to flee. Your Word says, *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). We submit this home, this family, and this life to You alone, Lord, and we resist every work of darkness.
We also ask for forgiveness of sins, for we know that sin can open doors to sickness and oppression. *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray for a spirit of repentance and humility, that this one and their family would draw near to You, experience Your cleansing, and walk in Your peace.
Father, we recognize that this prayer was lifted in the powerful name of Jesus, and we are so grateful for that. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our pains on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5), and by His stripes, we are healed. We claim that promise now. We also pray for the family—grant them strength, patience, and unwavering faith as they wait on You. Surround them with Your presence, protect their hearts from fear, and fill their home with Your peace.
We declare that this is not the end of the story. We believe in a God who raises the dead, who restores what was lost, and who turns mourning into dancing. We trust You for a testimony of complete healing, for a miracle that will glorify Your name. May this family experience Your love in tangible ways, and may their faith grow as they see Your hand at work.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
