We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden following a brain stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed every cell and knit this beloved body together in the womb. We stand in the gap, asking for Your miraculous healing touch to restore movement, speech, and strength. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Command the neurons to fire correctly, the muscles to respond, and the blood pressure to stabilize. May every infection be cleansed, every bedsore healed, and every bodily function regulated according to Your perfect design.
We pray for the medical team attending to him—that You would grant them supernatural wisdom, skill, and discernment as they work toward his recovery. May they be vessels of Your healing power, guided by Your hand in every decision and procedure.
Father, we also bring before You the spiritual concerns raised in this request. We rebuke every assignment of darkness—any black magic, curse, or witchcraft that may have been directed toward this family. The Bible is clear: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that this home is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no scheme of the enemy will prosper here. We break every chain and cancel every assignment of the evil one in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also ask for forgiveness of sins, both known and unknown, for this dear one and his family. If there are areas where repentance is needed, Lord, reveal them and grant the grace to turn away from anything that does not align with Your will. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
To the family, we say: do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Your labor of love and faithfulness in caring for your loved one does not go unnoticed by the Lord. He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and will strengthen you for the journey ahead. Lean on Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus to come boldly before Your throne. We declare that this dear one is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak restoration over every part of his body. Lord, we ask You to rewire his brain, restore his speech, and strengthen his limbs. Let him rise up and walk, eat, and speak as he did before. We command every infection, bedsore, and complication to leave his body now, in Jesus’ name.
We pray for his family—that You would surround them with Your peace, provision, and protection. Give them endurance, hope, and unwavering faith as they trust in You. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we also ask that You would sanctify this home. Let Your presence fill every room, and let Your angels encamp around them to guard and protect (Psalm 91:11). We break every curse, hex, or spell that has been spoken over this family, and we declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus. No evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. May this family experience Your love, Your healing, and Your glory in ways they have never known before. We ask all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
