We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for a year following a stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every intricate detail of our bodies. We stand in faith, believing that nothing is too hard for You, and we ask for complete restoration and healing in every area affected by this stroke.
Lord, we pray for the resolution of all neuro issues. You created the brain and nervous system, and we trust in Your power to repair what has been damaged. Restore movement to every limb, regulate blood pressure and all vital signs to normal levels. Strengthen this beloved one to eat, speak, and walk independently once again. We declare that by Your stripes, healing is theirs, for You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:5). Let every sense and reflex return smoothly, and may their body respond to Your healing touch.
We also lift up the medical team caring for them. Father, grant them wisdom, skill, and compassion as they work toward recovery. Guide their hands and minds, and let every treatment and therapy be effective under Your divine direction. We pray against infections, bed sores, or any complications that may arise, asking for Your protection and healing over their body.
Father, we ask for forgiveness of sins, for we know that sin can sometimes open doors to affliction. We pray that this one would experience Your mercy and grace, drawing near to You in repentance and faith. Comfort and strengthen the family as they seek Your face, Lord. Pour out Your love, protection, and peace over them, and let them see Your hand at work in this situation.
We also take authority over any spiritual attacks mentioned in this request. The Bible is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke any influence of black magic, curses, or witchcraft in the name of Jesus Christ. Your Word declares that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17), and we stand on that promise. We pray that Your angels would encamp around this home, protecting it from every evil scheme of the enemy.
Lord, we believe in Your power to perform miracles. We ask for a divine breakthrough in this situation, for nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37). May this one rise up from their bed, strengthened and whole, to testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. We declare that this is a season of restoration, and we thank You in advance for the healing that is coming.
Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We trust in You, our Redeemer, who lives and reigns forever. Amen.
