We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden following a brain stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mothers’ wombs and knows every fiber of our being. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. We ask You to touch this beloved individual with Your healing hand, resolving every neuro issue and restoring full movement to their body.
Lord, we pray for the regulation of their blood pressure and all vital signs, that they would stabilize according to Your perfect design. Grant them the strength to eat, speak, and walk again, just as they did before. We ask for the restoration of their senses and reflexes, that every part of their body would function smoothly and without pain. Heal any infections, mend bed sores, and grant wisdom and skill to the medical team attending to them, that they may be instruments of Your healing power.
Father, we also bring before You the spiritual needs of this family. We ask for the forgiveness of sins, not only for this dear one but for all who are seeking Your mercy. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We pray that this family would experience Your love, protection, and the divine miracle they so desperately need.
We rebuke any form of black magic, curse, or witchcraft that may be attempting to bind this household. The Bible is clear in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that such practices are an abomination to You. We stand on the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over all darkness. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17.
Lord, we also want to gently remind this family of the power and necessity of calling on the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray for healing, protection, and restoration. If this dear one or their family members have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so today. For it is written, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household" (Acts 16:31).
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family in their faith, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them see Your glory manifested in this situation. We declare that this is not the end of their story, but a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
