We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for a year following a brain stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed every cell and nerve in the body. We ask for Your mighty healing hand to move upon this situation. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, this one is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete restoration of neuro function—may every damaged pathway be renewed, every signal restored, and every movement returned. Strengthen the medical team with divine wisdom and skill as they work toward recovery.
Father, we ask that blood pressure and all vital signs be regulated according to Your perfect design. Grant strength to eat, speak, and walk again, just as before. Restore senses and reflexes, and heal any infections or bed sores that have developed. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for it is written that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).
We also lift up the family, who have been faithfully seeking Your mercy and love. Comfort them, Lord, and grant them endurance as they care for their loved one. We stand against any assignment of darkness—black magic, curses, or witchcraft—that may have been sent against this household. The Bible declares that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take authority over every evil work in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over this home and declare it sanctified and protected.
Father, we ask for forgiveness of sins, for we know that unconfessed sin can hinder healing (Psalm 66:18). If there is anything in this one’s life or the family’s life that needs to be brought to light and repented of, reveal it, Lord, so that full restoration may come.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom all healing flows (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed in this situation. Amen.
