We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for a year following brain surgery. Father, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this body in its mother’s womb and knows every cell, every synapse, every breath. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Lord, we ask for complete restoration—movement where there is stillness, strength where there is weakness, speech where there is silence. Regulate every vital sign, heal every infection, and close every bedsore. Let Your healing power flow through every therapy session, every medical intervention, and every moment of care.
We also lift up the medical team attending to him. Father, grant them wisdom beyond their training, skill beyond their experience, and compassion that reflects Your own heart. May they be instruments of Your healing, guided by Your hand in every decision they make.
We must address the mention of black magic, curses, and witchcraft with biblical truth. Scripture is clear in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that such practices are an abomination to the Lord, and we are warned not to turn to them or fear them. The power of Jesus Christ is greater than any darkness, and in His name, we break every chain, rebuke every evil influence, and declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the authority of Christ, who disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15). Let this home be sanctified by the blood of Jesus, filled with the light of His presence, and protected by the power of His name.
Father, we also ask for Your forgiveness over any sins in this family’s life. If there has been unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin, we pray for repentance and cleansing by the blood of Jesus. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let this family walk in the freedom and forgiveness that Christ died to give them.
We pray for the family members who are carrying this burden. Strengthen them, Lord, with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Provide for their every need—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Let them feel Your presence in the quiet moments, Your comfort in the weary hours, and Your hope in the darkest nights.
Heavenly Father, we believe in Your power to perform miracles. We ask for a supernatural touch upon this dear one’s body, that he may rise from this bed, walk again, speak clearly, and live a life that glorifies You. Let this testimony of healing be a light to others, pointing them to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We declare that by His stripes, this one is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we wait expectantly for the manifestation of Your glory in this situation.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
