We lift up this dear brother in Christ who has been bedridden for a year following brain surgery, earnestly seeking the Lord’s healing touch upon his body, mind, and spirit. Father, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every fiber of our being. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We stand on this truth, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Lord, we ask You to restore movement and strength to his limbs, that he may rise from this bed of affliction and walk again in the fullness of health You intended. Regulate his blood pressure and all vital functions, for You hold the very breath of life in Your hands (Daniel 5:23). Grant him the ability to eat, speak, and move independently, just as he did before this trial. We pray for the healing of every infection, the mending of bed sores, and the restoration of his senses and reflexes. Let Your healing power flow through every cell, tissue, and organ, bringing wholeness and vitality.
We also lift up the medical team attending to him, asking that You grant them divine wisdom, skill, and compassion. Guide their hands and minds as they work toward his recovery, that they may be instruments of Your healing grace. We thank You for their dedication and ask that You bless them abundantly for their labor of love.
Father, we acknowledge that sin can open doors to affliction, and so we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness over this brother’s life. Cleanse him from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9) and break every chain of sickness, infirmity, or spiritual oppression that may be hindering his recovery. We rebuke in the name of Jesus any spirits of infirmity, witchcraft, or black magic that have been sent against him or his family. The Word declares in James 4:7, *"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We stand firm in the authority of Christ, declaring that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for his family, who have been faithfully seeking Your face on his behalf. Strengthen them in their weariness, fill them with hope, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Provide for their every need, both practical and emotional, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways as they walk through this valley.
Lord, we ask for a divine miracle—a testimony of Your power and glory. Let this season of suffering be turned into a season of praise, as You restore what has been lost and bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). We declare that this brother is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life, health, and vitality over him in the mighty name of Jesus.
We pray all these things with faith, knowing that You hear us and that Your will is perfect. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may many come to know You through the testimony of healing and restoration. In Jesus’ powerful and matchless name we pray, Amen.
