We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear father who has been bedridden since his brain surgery last December. Heavenly Father, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mothers’ wombs and knows every fiber of our being. We declare Your Word over this situation: *"I am the Lord who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26). Lord, we ask for complete restoration—strengthen his limbs, regulate his blood pressure and vitals, and restore his ability to eat, speak, and walk as he once did. May his senses and reflexes return smoothly, and may every infection and bedsore be healed by Your mighty hand.
We also pray for the medical team attending to him, asking that You grant them divine wisdom, skill, and discernment in every decision they make. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach"* (James 1:5). We trust in Your sovereignty over his recovery, knowing that nothing is too difficult for You.
Father, we humbly ask for Your forgiveness over any sins in his life, and we stand on Your promise: *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We also pray for his family, that You would surround them with Your peace, strength, and provision as they care for him. *"Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7).
Now, concerning the mention of "black magic" and "witchcraft," we must address this with biblical truth. Scripture is clear that such practices are detestable to the Lord: *"There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord"* (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We rebuke any such influence in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). We declare that no curse or spell has power over those who are in Christ, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we also want to gently remind all who read this that salvation and access to You come only through Jesus Christ. *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge them to do so today, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13).
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in this father’s life, and may Your glory be revealed through his healing. Amen.
