We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden since last December following brain surgery. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this beloved individual in their mother’s womb and knows every cell, every synapse, every breath. We stand in the gap, declaring Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.*
Lord, we ask for complete restoration of movement and physical activity. Where nerves have been damaged, we pray for regeneration; where muscles have weakened, we pray for strength. May this precious one rise from this bed, not by human might but by Your Spirit, as You commanded the paralytic in Mark 2:11-12, *"I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house."* Let their steps be steady, their speech clear, and their appetite restored. Regulate their blood pressure, heart rate, and all vital functions to normal, for You are the One who holds their life in Your hands (Psalm 31:15).
We also lift up the medical team attending to them. Grant them wisdom beyond their training, skill beyond their experience, and compassion in every decision. May they be instruments of Your healing, guided by Your hand (Proverbs 3:5-6). For any infections, bed sores, or complications, we declare Your healing power over them, trusting in Your word: *"By His stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5).
Father, we acknowledge that sin separates us from Your fullest blessings, and we humbly ask for forgiveness on behalf of this dear one and their family. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9) and break every chain of darkness that may be affecting their home. We rebuke in the name of Jesus any spirits of witchcraft, black magic, or curses that have been spoken against this family. The Bible is clear: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that Your light dispels every shadow, and Your blood covers every sin.
We also want to gently remind this family that salvation and healing are found in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this dear one has not yet placed their trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray they would do so now, for *"whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved"* (Romans 10:13). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
To the family, we say: Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Your labor of love and care is seen by the Lord, and He will reward you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Now, let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for the life of this beloved one and for Your faithfulness even in this trial. Lord, we ask for a complete and miraculous healing—body, mind, and spirit. Restore what has been lost, strengthen what has weakened, and bring full recovery according to Your will. We declare that this is not a time for despair but for Your glory to be revealed. Touch every doctor, nurse, and therapist involved in this care, and let Your wisdom flow through them. Break every chain of darkness over this home, and fill it with Your peace, joy, and presence. We trust in Your promises, for You are a God who heals, redeems, and restores. May this family experience Your love in tangible ways, and may this healing be a testimony to Your power. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
Hold fast to hope, dear family. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in this situation. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in Him. Your miracle is on the way.
