We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear father who has been bedridden since his brain surgery last December. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed every part of his body in his mother’s womb and knows every cell and synapse. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon him. Restore movement to his limbs, strength to his muscles, and coordination to his reflexes. Regulate his blood pressure, heart rate, and all vital functions according to Your perfect design. Lord, we pray that You would open his mouth to eat and speak clearly, and strengthen his legs to stand and walk again as he once did.
We also bring before You the medical team caring for him. Bless them with divine wisdom, skill, and discernment as they work toward his recovery. Protect him from infections, heal his bed sores, and guard his body from further complications. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
Father, we also lift up his soul before You. We ask for Your forgiveness over any sins in his life, knowing that confession and repentance bring cleansing and peace. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Surround him and his family with Your love, protection, and comfort during this difficult time. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and fill their home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Now, concerning the mention of curses, black magic, and witchcraft—we take authority in the name of Jesus Christ over every evil work and spiritual attack aimed at this family. The Bible is clear: "No curse can come to rest on you" (Proverbs 26:2). We rebuke every spirit of darkness and declare that this home is covered by the blood of Jesus. "The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom" (2 Timothy 4:18). We stand on the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Let this family walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won. We pray that their faith would not waver but grow stronger as they see Your hand moving in this situation. May they experience Your miraculous power and give You all the glory.
Heavenly Father, we believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your timing and Your perfect will for this dear father’s healing. Whether You choose to heal him instantly or strengthen him day by day, we know that Your grace is sufficient. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to Your throne. Amen.
