We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear father who has been bedridden since his brain surgery last December. Heavenly Father, we know that You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this man in his mother’s womb and knows every cell of his body. We ask You now to stretch forth Your healing hand upon him. Lord, we pray for complete restoration—strengthen his limbs, restore his ability to eat, speak, and walk independently, just as he did before. Regulate his blood pressure and all his vital signs to normal, and heal every infection and bed sore that afflicts him. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed, for Isaiah 53:5 tells us, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."*
We also lift up the medical team caring for him, asking that You grant them wisdom, skill, and divine insight as they work toward his recovery. Father, we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness over any sins in his life, knowing that You are faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for his family as well, that You would surround them with Your love, protection, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them in this trial, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways.
Now, concerning the mention of black magic and witchcraft, we must address this with biblical truth. Scripture is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). However, we are not to fear these things, for *"greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against this family in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every curse, spell, or demonic influence to be broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. We sanctify this home and cover it with the protection of the Lord, for *"the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10).
Father, we also want to gently remind this family that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If there are any in this family who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the fullness of Your salvation and the assurance of eternal life. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6).
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in this father’s life, and may Your name be glorified through his healing and testimony. We trust You, Lord, and we wait on You with expectation. Amen.
