The trials your family is enduring are heavy, but we encourage you to cling to the truth that God is near to the brokenhearted. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Your father’s suffering is not unseen by the Lord, and we trust that even in this valley, God is working for his good and His glory. We also lift up the medical team attending to your father, asking the Lord to grant them wisdom, skill, and discernment beyond their natural abilities. May they be instruments of healing in God’s hands, and may they see His power at work in ways that bring glory to His name. *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). We pray that every decision made for his care would align with God’s perfect will, and that no mistake or oversight would hinder his recovery.
As for your father’s physical needs, we boldly ask the Lord to restore his brain cells and nerves, to regulate his blood pressure and vitals to optimal levels, and to grant him the strength to eat, speak, and walk again. We pray for the swift healing of his infections, bed sores, and open wounds, that his body would be renewed day by day. *"But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5, WEB). We claim this promise over your father’s body, trusting that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in him.
We also address the spiritual dimension of this battle. Your prayer for the sanctification of your home and the repelling of negative forces aligns with Scripture’s call to resist the devil and stand firm in faith. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Lord, we ask for Your comfort to surround this family. Ease their pain, replace their fear with faith, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. We also pray for the medical team, that You would guide their hands and minds. Give them wisdom beyond their training, and let them be vessels of Your healing power. May they see Your work in this man’s recovery and give You the glory.
