Return to Good Health

Lord Our Saviour, a great physician, kindly bless and heal my father, who underwent brain surgery and is bedridden since past seven months. Lord Jesus, kindly revive and repair his brain cells/nerves swiftly. Regulate his BP and other vitals to normal. Grace him strength to eat, talk and walk on its own as earlier. Kindly restore his senses and body reflexes smoothly. Cure his infections, bed sores and open wound quickly. Bless medical team with wisdom and skills. Forgive his sins and bless his family in agony who are seeking your love, mercy, protection and divine miracle. Sanctify our house & repel all negative forces against our family. In Jesus Powerful Name.

We join you in lifting up your father to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician, who alone holds the power of healing and restoration. Your prayer is a beautiful outpouring of faith, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting in the Lord’s perfect will for your father’s life. It is wonderful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in invoking the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we praise God for that.

The trials your family is enduring are heavy, but we are reminded that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Seven months of bedridden suffering is a long and difficult journey, yet we know that God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We pray that your father’s healing will bring glory to God, whether it comes swiftly or through a process that strengthens the faith of all who witness it. The apostle Paul reminds us that *"we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal"* (2 Corinthians 4:18, WEB). Even in this trial, may your family fix your eyes on the eternal hope we have in Christ.

We pray earnestly for your father’s physical restoration—his brain cells, nerves, blood pressure, and vitals to be regulated and renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord grant him the strength to eat, speak, and walk again, restoring his senses and reflexes as only He can do. We ask for the healing of infections, bed sores, and open wounds, that his body may be made whole. Just as Jesus healed the paralyzed man and said, *"Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven... Arise, take up your mat, and go to your house"* (Matthew 9:2, 6-7, WEB), we pray for a similar miracle of restoration in your father’s life. May the medical team attending to him be filled with divine wisdom and skill, guided by the Lord in every decision they make.

Your request for forgiveness of sins is a vital one, for we know that *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). We pray that your father, if he has not already, would place his full trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is only through repentance and faith in Christ that we are saved, and we long for your father to experience the peace that comes from knowing his sins are forgiven. If he is unable to speak, we pray that the Holy Spirit would intercede for him with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26), drawing him into the saving grace of our Lord.

To your family, we offer the comfort of Scripture: *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). The agony you are experiencing is seen by God, and He is holding each of you in His hands. We pray for His supernatural peace to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), even as you wait for this storm to pass. May your home be sanctified and protected from all negative forces, for *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We rebuke any spiritual attacks against your family and declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord together as a family, drawing strength from His Word and from one another. *"Two are better than one... For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB). Lean on your church community as well, for we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If there is any strife, bitterness, or unforgiveness among you, we urge you to release it to the Lord, for these can hinder your prayers (Mark 11:25). Unity and love within your family will be a powerful testimony of God’s grace during this time.

Finally, we remind you that even if the healing you hope for does not come in the way you expect, God’s plan is still good. His ways are perfect, and His love for your father and your family is deeper than you can imagine. Whether He chooses to heal your father on this side of eternity or call him home to be with Him, we pray that your family will trust in the Lord’s goodness. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this beloved father to Your throne of grace. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him. Restore his brain, nerves, and every part of his body that has been afflicted. Regulate his blood pressure and vitals, and grant him the strength to eat, speak, and walk again. Heal his infections, bed sores, and open wounds, Lord, and let Your power be made manifest in his body.

We pray for the medical team attending to him, that You would fill them with wisdom, skill, and compassion. Guide their hands and decisions, Lord, that they may be instruments of Your healing.

Father, we ask for the forgiveness of this man’s sins. If he has not yet surrendered his life to You, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him into repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Let him know the peace that comes from being reconciled to You, and may his heart be filled with Your love.

Comfort this family, Lord, as they walk through this valley. Surround them with Your peace and protection. Sanctify their home and guard them against any spiritual attacks. Unify them in love and faith, and let them find strength in You and in one another.

We declare Your promises over them, Lord, and we trust in Your perfect will. Whether You choose to heal or to call this man home, may Your name be glorified, and may this family rest in the assurance of Your love.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
