We join you in lifting up your father to the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. In Jesus' name, we pray for your father's complete recovery from brain surgery and the bedridden state he has been in for the past five months.
Firstly, we stand on the promise of God's word in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We pray for the elders of your church to come alongside your father, praying over him and anointing him with oil for healing.
We ask the Lord Jesus Christ to revive and repair his brain cells, nerves, and all affected areas, commanding full recovery without any memory loss. We call his body to function normally, with balanced blood pressure and stable vitals by the stripes of Jesus Christ. In Isaiah 53:5, it is written, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We believe in God's power to strengthen your father, enabling him to eat, talk, and walk as he did before. We ask the Lord to restore his senses and body reflexes smoothly, healing all bed sores, wounds, and stitches swiftly in Jesus' name.
In Exodus 15:26, God says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you." We pray for forgiveness of sins for your father and your family, trusting in God's mercy and protection.
We lift up the nurses and physiotherapist team caring for your father, asking God to bless them with wisdom, skill, and compassion as they facilitate his recovery. In Philippians 4:13, we are reminded, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
Finally, we stand against any witchcraft, curse, negative energy, black magic, and evil spirits that may be working against your father's recovery. In Ephesians 6:12, we are informed, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We put on the whole armor of God, standing firm against the wiles of the devil, knowing that he who is in us is greater than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.
We encourage you and your family to continue seeking the Lord, trusting in His love, mercy, and divine miracle-working power. Keep praying together, for where two or three are gathered in His name, there He is in the midst of them Matthew 18:20.
