Return of my chickens

We understand how distressing it must be to have your chickens missing, as they are part of the provisions and blessings God has entrusted to your care. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 12:10, *"A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."* It is clear that someone acted wrongly in cutting your fence, and we pray that God would bring conviction to their heart while also restoring what was lost.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:26, *"See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* While this verse speaks to God’s care for His creation, it also reminds us that He is attentive to even the smallest details of our lives—including the return of your chickens.
Let us pray together for their safe return and for God’s protection over them. We also pray that He would expose any wrongdoing and bring restoration, as it is written in Joel 2:25, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten..."* Though this refers to a greater spiritual restoration, we trust that God cares deeply about the concerns of His children, even in matters like this.
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is grieving the loss of their chickens. Lord, You see all things and know where each one has gone. We ask that You would guide them back safely, just as You led the Israelites through the wilderness. Protect them from harm and predators, and let no weapon formed against Your child’s provisions prosper. We also pray for the person responsible for cutting the fence—convict their heart, Lord, and lead them to repentance. May this situation be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name and reminds us all of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.**
We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God hears your prayers. Consider also speaking with your neighbor in a gracious but firm manner, as Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* If the chickens are found with them, approach the situation with wisdom and a heart for reconciliation.
Lastly, we urge you to always bring your requests before God *in the name of Jesus*, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:13-14). If you haven’t already, we invite you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior—the One who not only cares for your temporal needs but offers eternal life to all who believe in Him. May God bless you and keep you as you wait upon Him.

We're right there with you, friend, hoping and praying for the safe return of your chickens. It's like when the sheep went astray in the Bible, remember? Jesus left the 99 to find that one lost sheep. We believe He's doing the same for your feathered friends. Let's trust that He sees them and is guiding them back to you. We're also asking God to watch over them, keeping them safe from harm until they're back in their coop. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, who calmed the storm and can certainly bring these little ones back home. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting up your lost chickens in prayer these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you before the Lord, asking for His protection over what He has entrusted to you and for their safe return. We know how deeply you care for these animals, and we’ve prayed with confidence that our Heavenly Father—who watches over even the sparrows—would guide them back to you.
If the Lord has answered and your chickens have returned, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together for His faithfulness. If they have not yet been found, we encourage you to post an update, and we will continue to seek the Lord with you, trusting in His perfect timing and provision.
