As years go by and time narrows our service.
It is time to retire.
We know we will miss you.
Every day we will feel the gap in our lives.
An empty space you have left.
It used to be filled with laughter and joy.
Now there is silence and quietness.
After He had sent the crowds away, He went up the mountain by himself to pray.
Mat. 14.23a
When we are going to retire then we shall do just what Jesus did.
He went to pray.
To stay closer to the heart of His Father.
We can meditate on the word of God.
Share with others.
Volunteer in our church.
Serve meals to the homeless.
Sort the clothes to be given away to the poor.
As we look back to our major accomplishments,
The lives we have touched and influence,
Improving their existence before God,
Never regret about something that you have done in the name of the Lord.
Know how important you are to everyone.
A gem, a unique treasure that came from the heart of Jesus.
And we will never be able to replace.
Only to imitate what God has done in your life,
That touched ours.
Let us remember that....
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91.1,2
When I retire I want to abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Together reing in heaven.
Forever and ever.
