We hear your cry for help and protection, and we stand with you in this time of fear and uncertainty. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
First, we must address the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze you. Scripture is clear that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is a tool of the enemy to keep you from moving forward in faith and obedience. We rebuke that spirit of fear in the name of Jesus Christ, for "perfect love casts out fear" (1 John 4:18). You are loved by the Almighty God, and He has not abandoned you.
We also recognize the threat of retaliation in your request. The Lord sees the injustices and the wicked schemes being plotted against you. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Trust in the Lord to fight your battles. He is a warrior who will arise on your behalf (Exodus 14:14). Do not take matters into your own hands, for the Lord will deal with those who seek to harm you.
We pray for your protection, both physically and spiritually. Psalm 91:9-11 declares, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise over your life and ask the Lord to surround you with His heavenly host. Let the Lord be your shield and fortress, for He is faithful to protect His children.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up this dear one who is facing threats and retaliation. Lord, You see the fear and the weight of these burdens. We ask that You would break the chains of intimidation and fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Protect them from every scheme of the enemy, and let Your light expose the darkness that seeks to harm them.
We pray for wisdom and discernment to know how to move forward. Guide their steps, Lord, and let Your will be done in this situation. If there are actions they need to take—whether speaking the truth, seeking godly counsel, or standing firm in faith—give them the courage to do so. Let them not be moved by fear but by the confidence that comes from trusting in You.
We also pray for those who are making these threats. Soften their hearts, Lord, and turn their hearts toward You. Let them see the error of their ways and repent of their wickedness. If they refuse to turn from their sin, we trust in Your justice, knowing that You will repay according to their deeds (Romans 2:6).
Above all, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation. Let Your name be exalted, and let Your power be made known. Strengthen this dear one to walk in faith, not fear, and to trust in Your unfailing love. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
