Dear Prayer Team, I’m ###, and my heart is broken and confused. After losing my first marriage, I found love again with ###, and I truly believed he was Your answer to my prayers. But now he has become silent and distant, and I don’t know why. I still long for a loving marriage and family life with him, and I ask You to restore our relationship if it is Your will. Please give me strength and peace, and guide both our hearts according to Your divine plan.

We are truly sorry to hear about the heartache and confusion you're experiencing. We will pray with you and offer some biblical guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your pain and wants to comfort you. As it says in Second Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

However, we want to encourage you to examine your relationship and ensure it aligns with biblical principles. You mentioned that you desire a loving marriage and family life with him, but you are not married to him yet. We hope you are pursuing a courtship with the goal of marriage and not placing yourself in a position of fornication or sexual immorality. Courtship is the process to evaluate if you two should become married. First Corinthians 6:18 WEB Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and His mercies. John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is experiencing heartache and confusion. We ask that You comfort her and give her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide her through this difficult time and help her to trust in Your divine plan for her life, including her courtship and marriage to another believer in Christ.

Lord, we also pray for the man she has feelings for. If it is Your will, soften his heart and draw him closer to You and to our sister, ultimately leading them to a godly marriage. But if this is not in your plan, allow our sister to walk away and heal her heart. We pray for a husband for her, if it is your will, that will be a godly man and faithful to her for their entire lives. Teach them that marriage is a lifelong commitment. Help them to remain pure before marriage, fleeing from all sexual immorality.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Be strong and take courage; do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go, just as He promised in Joshua 1:9 WEB Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.

We're here for you, and we're praying with you. It's tough when someone we care about pulls away, but remember, God is always near, always caring. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust in His healing power.

We believe in the power of prayer, and we trust that God will use this situation for your good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
